How to bandage a wound? Teach you the correct bandaging method

The wound should be cleaned and treated promptly, and then bandaged scientifically. Correct bandaging can effectively prevent infection, relieve pain, and protect the wound. There are many ways to bandage the wound. The bandage should be quick, light, fast, and accurate, and the wound should also be well cared for.

1. Bandage ring method

This is the most basic and commonly used bandage method. Generally, this method is used to bandage small wounds after cleaning. It is also suitable for the neck, head, legs, chest and abdomen. The method is: make the first circle slightly slanted, make the second and third circles into rings, and press the slanted corner of the first circle into the ring, so that it can be fixed more securely. Finally, use adhesive to secure the tail, or cut the tail into two pieces and tie a knot.

2. Bandage Snake Method

Mostly used for fixing splints. The method is: first wrap the bandage in a circular manner for a fixed number of times, and then wrap it diagonally up or down at intervals according to the width of the bandage. Serve.

3. Bandage spiral method

It is mostly used in places with similar thickness. The method is: first wrap it several times in a circular manner to fix it, and then wrap each circle up to cover one third or two thirds of the previous circle to form a spiral shape.

4. Bandage the head with a triangular bandage

First, fold the base of the triangular scarf and place it on your forehead. Pull both sides to the back of your head and make a half knot with the base. Then wrap it around your forehead and tie a knot to secure it.

5. Triangular bandage with hood

Tie a knot at the top corner and bottom edge of the triangular scarf to form a hood shape.

When bandaging the head and face, place the top knot on the forehead and the bottom knot under the back of the head, wrap the head, pull the two corners toward the face, fold them outwards and wrap around the lower jaw, then pull it behind the pillow and tie a knot.

6. Chest bandage

If the right chest is injured, place the top corner of the triangular scarf on the right shoulder, pull the bottom edge to the back and tie a knot on the right side, then pull the right corner to the shoulder and tie a knot with the top corner.

7. Back bandage

The method is the same as chest bandage, but the position is opposite, and the knot is tied on the chest.

8. Bandaging of hands and feet

Place your hands and feet on the triangular scarf, pull the top corner in front over the back of your hands and feet, then wrap the bottom edge around it and tie a knot to secure it.
