How does TCM regulate a balanced constitution?

3. Body movement. Participate in moderate exercise according to age and gender. Young people can run and play ball, while the elderly can take a walk and practice Tai Chi.

4. Diet adjustment. You should eat in moderation, not skipping one meal and then full the next. Also, avoid consuming too cold, too hot, or unclean food. A proper combination of coarse and fine grains should be adopted. Eat more whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and eat less greasy and spicy food. Remember to quit smoking and limit alcohol consumption.

5. Mental adjustment. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that a peaceful state of mind is the magic weapon for people to achieve a peaceful constitution. There is a saying in Huangdi Neijing: "Do not tire yourself out with work, do not worry about thoughts, take tranquility and happiness as your goal, take self-satisfaction as your achievement, your body will not be worn out, your spirit will not be scattered, and you can live to be a hundred years old.
