What are the treatments for foot pain?

The phenomenon of foot congestion is a relatively common phenomenon, especially for people who often engage in physical labor. Although foot congestion does not cause much harm to overall health, foot congestion in general can cause patients to suffer extreme pain, and the pain lasts for a very long time, which is similar to the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Therefore, timely treatment of foot disease is the biggest wish of this group of people. The pathogenesis of foot pain is joint pain caused by foot strain. Therefore, traditional Chinese medicine methods can be considered during treatment. Let’s take a look at the methods of treating foot pain.

Heel pain usually does not show any abnormal symptoms from the outside, and the area around the heel is not red or swollen. However, if you press lightly in the center of the patient's heel, you will feel a piercing pain.

Prescription 1: Take a hot water bag, fill it 80% full with boiling water, and place it on the ground (if you are afraid that the hot water will cool down quickly, it is best to put a piece of cloth under it). Put a 2 cm thick, 10 cm long and 10 cm wide sponge on the hot water bag. Pour old vinegar on the sponge until it stops flowing out, then place the painful part of the foot on the sponge and steam it. Apply hot compress 1 to 2 times a day, each time for about 30 minutes.

Prescription 2: Take 40g of gallic acid seeds and 20g of sapodilla seeds, grind them into fine powder, add rice vinegar to make a paste, divide into 5 portions, apply 1 portion to the affected area each time, cover with gauze and tape to fix, change the dressing once a day, and use 2 to 3 doses continuously for severe cases

Prescription three: Take 30 grams of processed Chuanwu, grind it into fine powder, add white wine (must be grain wine) to make the powder into a paste. Wash your feet with warm water before going to bed at night, apply the medicine on the painful area, cover it with gauze, fix it with adhesive tape, and remove it the next morning. One week is one course of treatment. There should be a break of 2 to 3 days between each course of treatment.

Prescription 4: Take an appropriate amount of fresh leaves of Xanthium sibiricum and mash them. Apply 20 to 30 grams of the paste to the affected area each time, cover it with plastic film, and change the dressing after it dries. Do not limit the number of times. If small blisters occur, stop applying the paste immediately and continue applying it after the wound has healed. Generally, 5 to 7 days constitute one course of treatment, and another course of treatment should be repeated 2 to 3 days later.
