What to do if you have gonococcal infection? Treatment of gonococcal infection

The speed of the breeding of germs in our daily life is very fast. There are a large number of bacteria in almost every corner, which poses a greater threat to people's health. Among the bacteria, various infectious viruses are more harmful and can cause many inflammatory diseases to the body. For example, gonococci are a kind of viral bacteria that are very easy to infect. The infection rate is highest in the genital area and the impact is the greatest. Especially for women, it is difficult to keep the virus out if the genitals are not adequately covered. Let’s take a look at how to treat gonococcal infection.

Gonorrhea is one of the common sexually transmitted diseases. It is a purulent inflammatory disease caused by gonococcal infection, usually causing acute or chronic purulent inflammation of the urogenital system. Gonorrhea can also infect the pelvis, rectum, eyes, pharynx or cause disseminated gonococcal infection. The incubation period is mostly 2 to 10 days, with an average of 3 to 5 days.

First, inject two bottles of spectinomycin (an antibiotic). In order to prevent the infection of the genitals from becoming more serious, it is recommended to come to the hospital for antibiotic injections every three days to cure the gonococcal infection.

Next, use an external medicated cleanser to wash your lower body every day when you take a shower. You will feel a cool sensation, so wash it every day. After half a month, there are no red and swollen spots on your lower body. The effect is very good!

Finally, medication is needed. Take erythromycin stearate granules (a drug for treating gonorrhea) 3 times a day, 2 packets at a time, for half a month; take spiramycin tablets (a drug for suppressing genital infections) 3 times a day, 2 tablets at a time, for a month.

Prevention: Avoid extramarital sexual contact. Items used by patients should be disinfected. Gonorrhea is very fragile after leaving the human body and will die within 1 to 2 hours in a dry environment. Boiling, exposure to sunlight, and commercially available disinfectants containing bleach and iodine all have good bactericidal effects. To avoid infection in public places, it is advisable to use squat toilets. Implement a system of administering silver nitrate solution or other antibiotic eye drops to newborns to prevent neonatal gonococcal ophthalmia.
