Symptoms of insanity

The rapid development of today's society has made people enjoy its convenience while also making everyone bear heavy pressure. Therefore, some people will have mental problems, and mental disorder is a common one among them. Patients with mental disorder have mild confusion. Because they tend to fantasize, they cannot distinguish between reality and their own state. So, how does this situation occur for patients? Let's learn about mental disorder and its symptoms together.

What is insanity?

Insanity is a term used to describe the loss of cognitive or intellectual function. Many conditions can cause psychosis, and psychosis related to depression, medication interactions, thyroid and other problems can be reversed if detected early. This is why it is important to get an occupational diagnosis in order to determine the true cause and give the correct treatment. In addition to Alzheimer's disease, several other diseases can also cause mental disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, progressive chorea and Creutzfeldt-Jakob syndrome.

1. Mental factors: Mental factors are the direct cause of this disease. Acute mental stimulation factors are often events that cause panic in patients or have threatening significance, such as fire, flood, earthquake, car accident, sudden death of relatives, wartime bombing, firearm threats, hand-to-hand combat, etc. Continuous mental stress, persistent and heavy inner conflicts and emotional burdens, long-term isolation, etc. can also lead to excessive sadness, regret and inner pain.

Mental factors must be strong enough to cause the patient to have a strong nostalgic reaction, lose self-control, and their behavior and thinking are dominated by pathological emotions, showing various mental symptoms and even consciousness disorders.

2. Personality characteristics: Those who are sensitive, suspicious, and cowardly are prone to the disease.

3. Other factors: The disease is prone to occur after a serious illness or chronic physical disease, when the patient is overly tired, or when the patient's physical functions are weakened during the menstrual period or the postpartum period. The patient's degree of inner conflict is related to his or her psychosocial background (such as cultural education level, hobbies, wishes, values, etc.). Those with a family history of mental illness are prone to the disease.
