Although diarrhea is very uncomfortable, there are always times when you get diarrhea due to carelessness. This is understandable, but if a person always has diarrhea it is not normal and the body will not be able to bear it. If diarrhea lasts for a long time, the whole person will feel weak and exhausted, and life will be listless. So why do people always have diarrhea? The first possibility is potential gastric cancer. Gastric cancer ranks first among various malignant tumors in my country. It is often related to Helicobacter pylori infection, heredity and genes, eating habits and other factors. There are usually no obvious symptoms in the early stages of gastric cancer, but as the disease progresses, patients usually have symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, loss of appetite, fatigue, and abdominal pain. Diarrhea caused by gastric cancer is different from general diarrhea. Diarrhea caused by gastric cancer is usually accompanied by a feeling of bloating and pain in the upper abdomen. At this time, the patient should go to the hospital in time for a gastroscopy. The second possibility is colon cancer. Colorectal cancer includes colon cancer and rectal cancer. Its occurrence is often related to chronic inflammation of the large intestine, colorectal adenomas, high-fat and low-fiber diet habits, heredity and genes and other factors. The early symptoms of colorectal cancer are generally not obvious. As the cancer develops, the patient will gradually develop abdominal pain, bloody stools, intestinal obstruction, abdominal mass and other symptoms, and constipation and diarrhea often occur alternately. When symptoms of colorectal cancer appear, patients must seek medical attention in time. The third possibility is liver cancer. Liver cancer is usually accompanied by cirrhosis, which can easily lead to portal hypertension or embolism, causing intestinal wall edema, accelerated intestinal motility, digestive and secretory dysfunction, and thus diarrhea. Studies show that about half of patients with primary liver cancer will have diarrhea symptoms three months before diagnosis, and the number of diarrhea episodes ranges from 2 to 20 times each time. Therefore, if patients with cirrhosis have symptoms of unexplained diarrhea, they must remember to seek medical attention in time. Fourth islet cell carcinoma. Islet cell tumor is a tumor that occurs in pancreatic islet cells and is often found in people between the ages of 20 and 50. Islet cell tumor often causes diarrhea due to peptic ulcer disease. Patients generally experience diarrhea after consuming excessive fat and cholesterol, and may also experience nausea, fatigue, and weight loss. |
