Where is the fetal movement when the fetus is head down?

Generally speaking, when the fetus is head down, the fetal movement should be on the top, that is, around the belly button. At this time, the fetus's limbs will move. At about 32 weeks, the fetal position can be determined. When the fetus enters the pelvis, it means that the fetus is about to be born. At this time, pregnant women must pay more attention to nourishment, maintain adequate rest, and make adequate preparations to welcome the birth of the child.

Where is the fetal movement after entering the pelvis?

When the baby's head is shallowly inserted into the pelvis, it can still move. Sometimes you can feel the baby arching near the pubic bone, and you can also feel fetal movement in other parts of the belly. After the baby is fully in the pelvis, the baby's head can no longer move, and the baby's limbs mainly move, probably around the navel. Don't try to compare your fetal movements with those of other expectant mothers. Each fetus, like a newborn baby, has its own pattern of development and activity. Some are more active, some are quieter. Some fetuses move as punctually as a timer, while others have no pattern at all.

The fetus begins to move from about the 8th week, and the spine also begins to make subtle movements. The mother cannot perceive the fetal movement at this time. Since the end of 16 weeks, the fully developed limbs will begin to move actively. Usually the mother can feel the fetal movement at this time, but some people may still not know what it feels like. The fetus's punching, kicking, turning and other movements can not only be felt but also seen. As the fetus grows, fetal movements are most noticeable between 28 and 32 weeks. After 32 weeks, the fetus gradually occupies the space in the uterus and its movement is significantly restricted. Although restrained, the fetus will occasionally deliver a powerful blow. When the baby's head hits the muscles of the pelvic floor, you will feel a sudden blow.

Fetal movement patterns

1. Biological sleep cycle (activity-rest cycle): 62.3 minutes for 5-6 months of pregnancy (average wakefulness: 39.5 minutes, average sleep: 27.8 minutes). Each fetus has a different cycle, and the time of waking and falling asleep is also not certain. Generally speaking, the fetus sleeps for about 20 to 75 minutes, then wakes up and moves around, and may fall asleep again. The fetus's sleep time is long, but it is all fragmented sleep. 2. Day and night variation pattern: frequent from 8:00 to 12:00 in the morning; gradually decreasing, reaching the minimum from 2:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon; and increasing to the maximum from 8:00 to 11:00 in the evening. If the fetal movement is continuous or multiple fetal movements are felt at the same time, it can only be counted as one. You have to wait until the fetal movement stops completely before continuing counting. If the fetus continues to move for a long time, you should also be alert. 1. Choose 8:00~9:00 in the morning, 2:00~3:00 in the afternoon, and 8:00~9:00 in the evening, all after meals. Fetal movement judgment criteria: Normal: ≥3 times/h; ≥30 times/12h. The lowest limit of normal value: 10 times. 2. If you feel 10 discontinuous fetal movements within 2 hours, you can judge that the fetus is in good condition in the uterus. Once there are more than 10 fetal movements, you do not need to continue counting even if it is less than 2 hours. 3. Count three times a week, each time for 1 hour. If the number of fetal movements is equal to or exceeds the previous base number, the fetus is considered to be in good condition in the uterus.
