Why do I feel itchy when I run?

Clinically, there are many types of skin diseases, and the symptoms are different. Skin itching is very uncomfortable. It is a type of symptom that can be caused by many reasons. When this happens, be sure not to scratch it with your hands to avoid the possibility of infection. Some people also experience aggravated itching symptoms when running. Then why do I feel itchy all over when I run?

1. Thickening of fat layer

It may be because of long-term lack of exercise that the fat layer on the body surface thickens. While running you burn fat. The first is to burn the fat on the body surface that is directly involved in the exercise. This is normal, but you must stick to it. The best way to run is to run for thirty minutes every day for three months. Before each run, stretch and warm up before running, and stretch your legs immediately after running. Remember, don't drink water or sit within ten minutes after running. Walk around to promote blood circulation. It is best to jog slowly when running. If you run fast, you will lose confidence due to soreness.

2. Qi and blood are blocked

When exercising, blood circulation speeds up and the body begins to sweat. However, because the subcutaneous capillaries in some parts of the body are narrow and the skin pores shrink, the capillaries cannot withstand the pressure caused by the accelerated blood, and the pores cannot eliminate the sweat, which causes itching.

3. Capillary congestion

Some people may find that the skin on some parts of their body starts to become itchy after jogging, especially on the chest or face. This is because those who do not exercise regularly have capillaries that are not in use. They swell when they become filled with blood at irregular intervals, stimulating nearby nerve endings and transmitting an itch sensation to the brain.

4. Cholestatic urticaria

Cholestatic urticaria is a type of what people commonly call urticaria. When exposed to heat or after exercise, the body temperature rises slightly. The increased blood flow stimulates the brain's temperature regulation center, excites the choleretic nerves and releases acetylcholine. If you are allergic to this chemical, an allergic reaction may occur. Mental stress, heat or exercise can often induce skin lesions.
