What are the symptoms of otolithiasis?

What are the symptoms of otolithiasis? We need to pay attention to them in our lives. These diseases have a certain incubation period. If you often show symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, or tinnitus and hearing loss, you need to be alert to whether it is otolithiasis.

1. Latent period : Symptoms appear several seconds after the head position changes. It often occurs when the patient lies on the left or right side or turns his head, with a latency period of several seconds; sometimes there is no latency period, and rotational vertigo occurs immediately once the patient turns to the inducing position. The dizziness disappears immediately after changing the head position, so the patient is forced to adopt a fixed position for a long time.

2. Duration : gradually increasing, gradually decreasing, short-term, reversible, and fatigue. Vertigo only lasts for tens of seconds, generally no more than 1 minute, and may be accompanied by varying degrees of nausea.

3. Adaptability : easy to get tired. When the induced posture is repeated repeatedly, the induced vertigo can be alleviated in a short period of time. This characteristic is called "fatigue" in medicine. Because of its fatigue-inducing, short-duration, and lack of tinnitus, hearing loss, and other characteristics, we regard it as otolithiasis.

4. Interchangeability : Both lying down and sitting up are available. After the vertigo stops, the patient will experience vertigo again when he sits up quickly, in the opposite direction of the rotation induced by lying on his side.
