It is rich in sugars and starch, and old pumpkin tastes fragrant and sweet. It also contains protein, fat, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus and other minerals, and is very nutritious. Pumpkin is sweet, warm and non-toxic; the flesh of the pumpkin is beneficial to the lungs; the pumpkin seeds are fragrant and can repel insects. Take 1 pumpkin (about 500 grams), 60 ml of honey and 30 grams of rock sugar. Take it twice a day, morning and evening, for 5-7 days to cure asthma.

4. Northern melon: The northern melon is shaped like a pumpkin but smaller. It is also called peach pumpkin. The skin is red and yellow like gold, so it is also called golden melon. It is sweet and mild in nature, non-toxic, and has the effect of moistening the lungs and relieving asthma. It is often used by the Chinese people to treat asthma. Take 1 pumpkin, chop it, add an equal amount of maltose, put it into a ceramic pot, add appropriate amount of water, cook it until it is very soft, remove the residue, cook the juice again, and add ginger juice after it is concentrated. Add more than 50 grams of ginger juice to 500 grams of melon juice, add it in a ratio of 8:1, and cook it for a while. Take 1 spoon each time, 2 to 3 times a day, with boiled water. It can treat asthma and chronic bronchitis in the elderly.
