Thymosin oral tablets are actually thymosin enteric-coated tablets. Thymosin is a polypeptide that comes from the thymus of calves. This medicine comes as an enteric-coated tablet. It has a good effect in treating primary or secondary T-cell deficiency disorders. It can also be used to treat autoimmune diseases and cellular immune diseases. 1. Various types of severe hepatitis, chronic active hepatitis, chronic persistent hepatitis and liver cirrhosis, etc.;

Dissolve in 500ml of 0.9% sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection.

[Adverse Reactions] ① Good tolerance, some patients may experience nausea, fever, dizziness, chest tightness, weakness and other adverse reactions, and a few patients may occasionally feel drowsiness. ② Patients with chronic hepatitis B may experience a brief increase in ALT levels when using this product. If there are no signs of liver failure, they can continue to use this product.

③ The State Food and Drug Administration reminds people to pay attention to the serious allergic reactions of thymosin injection:

From 2003 to April 30, 2011, the National Center received 5,459 reports of adverse reactions/events suspected to be related to thymosin injection, of which 1,326 were severe cases, accounting for 24.29%. Serious adverse reactions mainly involved systemic damage (93.74%), including anaphylactic reactions, anaphylactic shock, high fever, etc.; followed by respiratory system damage (5.13%), including dyspnea, laryngeal edema, asthma, chest tightness, and suffocation; damage to the skin and its appendages (0.45%), mainly severe rash. The above serious adverse reactions are all related to allergic reactions.
