Rhinitis is divided into thirteen types, including acute rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, atrophic rhinitis, cheesy rhinitis, dry rhinitis, medicamentous rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, seasonal rhinitis, chronic hypertrophic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, nasal polyps, and sinusitis, among which allergic rhinitis is more common. People with allergic rhinitis will experience an attack of rhinitis as long as they come into contact with allergens. As a natural Chinese herbal medicine, Xanthium sibiricum has many functions and effects. So does Xanthium sibiricum have any effect on this allergic rhinitis? Disease description: It is caused by the nasal mucosa being highly sensitive to certain components in the inhaled air. Its symptoms are very similar to those of a cold, but it can occur multiple times a day; when it is not occurring, it is completely normal. The onset of allergic rhinitis is sometimes closely related to the season. Xanthium sibiricum for the treatment of allergic rhinitis: 1. Prepare more than 40 Xanthium sibiricum seeds, smash them and put them into the pot, pour in 50 grams of sesame oil, and fry them over low heat. When the Xanthium sibiricum is fried until dry, use chopsticks to pick it out and pour the oil in the pot into a bowl. After the oil has cooled, put it into a glass bottle and set aside. When using, soak a little oil on sterilized cotton and plug it into the nasal cavity before going to bed every night. Do this once a day and you will see results in one week. To prevent breathing difficulties at night, just plug your two nostrils alternately. 2. Gently pound 30-40 Xanthium sibiricums, put them into a clean small aluminum cup, add 30g sesame oil, boil over low heat, remove the Xanthium sibiricums, wait for them to cool, and pour them into a small bottle for later use. Apply the liquid medicine to the nasal cavity with a cotton swab, 2-3 times a day, and one course of treatment is two weeks. 3. Roast fresh Xanthium sibiricum on the stove flame to dry, then use a rolling pin to press them into powder and put them into a bag, or fry them. Xanthium sibiricum: Take Xanthium sibiricum, put it in a preheated frying container, heat it over medium heat, fry until the surface is dark yellow and the thorns are burnt, and the inside is light yellow. Take it out, let it cool, grind to remove the thorns, and sieve it. When using, crush it and take a small porcelain spoonful each time and drink it with hot water. This medicine should not be taken more than twice a day. Exceeding the specified dose can easily cause poisoning. 4 You can also take a small amount of Xanthium sibiricum powder and blow it into the nasal cavity or inhale the powder through the nose when rhinitis occurs, 3 to 6 grams per day. However, this method is not suitable for children, the elderly, and people with chronic diseases. Alternatively, you can first apply egg white to the external nose skin, and then sprinkle a small amount of Xanthium sibiricum powder evenly on the egg white. Apply it before bed every night and wash it off the next morning. Do this once a day to consolidate the therapeutic effect. 5. Roast the Xanthium sibiricum into dark brown and grind into powder. Take 3-5 grams each time, 3 times a day, for 2 weeks. Or mix the powder with honey to make pills (each pill contains 3 grams of powder), take 1 to 2 pills each time, 3 times a day, for 2 weeks, and if necessary, take for 3 weeks to 2 months. The above prescription has certain scientific reasons, but it should be noted that Xanthium sibiricum is a pungent and warm product. After being fried in oil, its pungent and warm nature becomes even stronger. It is clinically suitable for chronic rhinitis of exogenous wind-cold type, but not suitable for other syndromes. In addition, attention should be paid to the toxic reactions of long-term use. If poisoning occurs, go to the hospital in time. 6. It doesn't have to be fried. I boil Xanthium sibiricum in water and drink it as tea every day, 20 to 30 pieces at a time, and I feel it is effective. Because raw Xanthium sibiricum contains certain water-soluble glycosides and is slightly toxic, it is best to use fried Xanthium sibiricum. You can try a small amount before use. If you have no allergic reaction, you can use it as directed. If redness or swelling occurs, stop taking the medicine immediately. If it is serious, go to the hospital. If adults take more than 100 grams, it may cause poisoning. There are reports of people dying from poisoning after accidentally taking 500 grams of raw Xanthium sibiricum. |
