Can Hepatitis B virus be transmitted to humans?

Hepatitis itself is a serious disease, and hepatitis B big triple positive and small triple positive refer to whether the hepatitis B immune indicator is positive or negative. The positive one is big triple positive, and the negative one is small triple positive. It cannot represent the severity of the disease, but can only reflect the status of the body's hepatitis B immune markers. To judge the severity of the disease and whether it is contagious, it must be determined through professional examination and expert guidance. So under normal circumstances, can a person with negative hepatitis B be contagious?

Is Hepatitis B contagious?

Hepatitis B virus is caused by viral infection and is a contagious disease. It not only endangers the health of the patient himself, but may also cause harm to people around him. If not treated, some patients will experience worsening of their condition and even develop cirrhosis and liver cancer. Therefore, patients should undergo regular check-ups and actively receive symptomatic treatment according to their own condition. Hepatitis B is mainly transmitted through blood, semen, and vaginal secretions when there are wounds on the skin or mucous membranes of the infected person. Of course, it is possible to be transmitted through sexual intercourse. The best way to prevent it is to get a hepatitis B vaccine. It is best to wear a condom before antibodies are produced. Kissing generally does not cause infection. However, if both parties have oral ulcers, kissing or eating, and sharing toiletries may cause infection.

How to avoid infection/What should be paid attention to in the diet of hepatitis B:

1. Provide appropriate heat

2. Adequate protein supply can maintain nitrogen balance, improve liver function, and promote the repair and regeneration of damaged liver cells.

3. Provide appropriate amount of carbohydrates: Carbohydrates should provide 50-70% of total calories. Appropriate amount of carbohydrates can not only ensure the total calorie supply of chronic hepatitis patients, but also reduce the decomposition of body tissue protein, promote the liver's utilization of amino acids, increase liver glycogen reserves, and enhance the detoxification ability of liver cells.

4. Appropriately limit fat in the diet: Fat is one of the three major nutritional elements. The unsaturated fatty acids it provides are essential nutrients for the body and cannot be replaced by other foods, so there is no need to restrict it excessively. In addition, consuming an appropriate amount of fat is beneficial to the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (such as vitamin A, E, K, etc.). Because chronic hepatitis patients have decreased appetite and often have concurrent gallbladder diseases, they often do not consume enough fatty foods. Therefore, they need to eat an appropriate amount of fatty foods, but excessive fat restriction is inappropriate. The daily fat supply is generally 40-60g, or about 25% of the total daily energy. Fat intake should be restricted for patients with chronic hepatitis accompanied by fatty liver, hyperlipidemia, and acute cholecystitis.

5. Supplement appropriate amounts of vitamins and minerals: Vitamins play an important role in the detoxification, regeneration and immunity improvement of liver cells. Vitamins are often used as an auxiliary treatment for chronic hepatitis. Vitamin supplementation is mainly through food. When intake is insufficient, it is still beneficial to supplement with vitamin preparations in moderation. Patients with chronic hepatitis are prone to calcium deficiency and osteoporosis, so it is necessary for them to insist on drinking milk or taking calcium supplements appropriately.

6. Quit drinking and avoid the intake of substances that damage the liver: Ethanol can cause damage to liver cells, and the liver's detoxification ability of chronic hepatitis patients is reduced. Even small amounts of alcohol can aggravate liver cell damage and worsen liver disease, so hepatitis patients should abstain from alcohol.
