(If you don't like sweet dishes, you can omit the red dates. Only a little bit of white sugar is needed to enhance the flavor.) 2. Boil a pot of water. After the water boils, put the chicken into the steamer and steam it on high heat for about 12 minutes. After turning off the heat, simmer for 5 minutes before serving. 3. Sprinkle some chopped green onions on it to make it more fragrant.
