Hysteroscopy is a common examination item in gynecological examination. Through hysteroscopy, the situation inside the female uterus can be clearly observed. It plays a good auxiliary role in the diagnosis of some gynecological diseases. This can detect the disease early and treat it early, so that the disease will not develop seriously. If a woman is diagnosed with a gynecological disease, she must actively cooperate with the doctor for treatment to prevent the condition from worsening. How is cervicoscopy performed? The first thing you need to do during a cervicoscopy is to empty the bladder. The doctor will then help the patient take the lithotomy position and use a vaginal speculum to expose the female cervix and vagina. Secondly, use a cotton ball to gently wipe off cervical secretions and mucus. This will be beneficial for subsequent examinations. The doctor will then use the naked eye to observe the shape, size, color, and growths of the cervix. Then you need to turn on the light, adjust the objective lens to the same level as the examined area, and then adjust the distance of the objective lens. Generally, it can be displayed clearly at a distance of about 20 cm from the cervix. Use a 10x low-power microscope under white light to roughly observe the shape, color, and blood vessels of the cervix, and then use a high-power microscope to identify whether there are cervical lesions. Next, you need to use a cotton ball dipped in 3% to 5% acetic acid to wipe the surface of the cervix, and then observe whether the columnar epithelium is swollen and slightly white and appears grape-like. If the squamous epithelium is slightly white and there is no grape-like change, there is no need to worry too much. If there is a color change, you must carefully observe the situation of the suspicious lesion. If you need to observe for a long time, you should repeat the application of 3% to 5% acetic acid solution every 3 to 5 minutes. After determining the location and extent of the lesion, a biopsy should be taken from the negative area and sent for pathological examination. This will allow a clear diagnosis of the disease and then determine what treatment will be more effective. Patients must actively cooperate with doctors in the above examinations so that the disease can be quickly diagnosed and treated. As long as the patient suffers from gynecological diseases and it is necessary to undergo a cervicoscopy, she should actively cooperate with the doctor for a detailed examination. During the examination, she should have a good attitude. A happy mood and a stable state of mind are conducive to the diagnosis of the disease. In addition, she must be well prepared before the examination. She must not have sexual intercourse or develop bad eating habits. It is better to ensure a light and non-irritating diet. |
