Sexual orientation disorder

Sexual orientation disorder is a personal psychological illness. This disease needs to be corrected in the hospital, otherwise it is easy to delay the treatment of the disease. Because sexual orientation disorder is a psychological problem, it cannot be adjusted by oneself. You need to consult a psychologist before receiving treatment. In addition, it cannot be ruled out that it may be related to genetic factors, environmental factors, and economic factors.

In the most primitive period, the sexual activities of organisms were mainly related to reproduction, but later expanded to sexual satisfaction, and formed completely different sexual individuals in anatomy, endocrine, psychology and other aspects. In humans, selection and preference for the opposite sex are not innate but acquired behaviors. If normal sexual psychology development is affected by a bad family and environment, the mature heterosexual drive will be blocked or distorted, resulting in abnormal sexual orientation.

The factors that cause sexual orientation disorders are relatively complex. Currently, psychology mainly believes that the following factors lead to sexual orientation disorders:

1. Genetic factors: There is currently a lack of data on the incidence rate in relevant pedigrees, but it is speculated that genetic factors may make it susceptible to certain environmental factors.

2. Environmental factors: Family influence plays a very obvious role in the occurrence of homosexuality. Boys living in an environment with more women often have a feminine psychology and are prone to develop homosexuality.

3. Economic factors: Economically poor people who are unable to marry are more likely to become homosexual. Due to the complexity of Western society, it is not easy for men to obtain a stable male identity. There is also a potential tendency to evade male responsibilities, which makes homosexuality more likely.

A sexual psychological disorder in which the central object of sexual love or sexual interest deviates from the socially recognized reasonable member of the opposite sex and points to the same sex when there is a reasonable member of the opposite sex. If a temporary abnormality in sexual orientation occurs due to the absence or inability to contact reasonable members of the opposite sex due to restrictions on environmental conditions, it is mostly situational and will change with changes in environmental conditions. It does not constitute a sexual orientation disorder. The most common example of a sexual orientation disorder is homosexuality. However, in different social cultures, there are different views on whether homosexuality is considered a sexual orientation disorder. Homosexuality is said to have some kind of natural sexual background. Observers point out that the sexual interests of monkeys before sexual maturity are almost all homosexual in nature, and homosexuality is also an essential part of the life of baboon and gorilla groups. In human society, ancient Greece particularly praised homosexuality, believing that it was related to beautiful qualities such as aesthetics and morality. Some Western countries currently also adopt a tolerant attitude towards homosexuality. The U.S. mental illness classification system no longer includes homosexuality as a psychosexual disorder. However, based on the opinions of current Chinese experts and the traditional concepts of the Chinese people, homosexuality should be classified as a sexual orientation disorder that goes against the norm.
