How many days after menstruation can pregnancy be detected

Whether menstruation is normal or not is directly related to women’s physical condition, especially for women who have not had menstruation for a long time, it is necessary to see whether they are pregnant. Some people are afraid of getting pregnant unexpectedly without knowing it, so how many days after amenorrhea can the pregnancy be detected? Generally speaking, it takes about a week. If you do not want the child, you can go to the hospital for an abortion in time. If you want to have a child, you must take good health care measures during pregnancy.

For adult women, most of them have sex. If they do not take contraceptive measures in advance, when they do not have their period, they should consider whether they are pregnant. Here are two commonly used methods to test whether you are pregnant:

1. Early pregnancy test paper: Women can use test paper for testing more than 7 days after menstruation. Under normal circumstances, there are two results: drop urine into the detection hole on the test paper. If a colored band appears in the control area of the test paper (some test papers appear red, some test papers appear blue), it means no pregnancy. On the contrary, if an obvious colored band appears in the detection area, it means positive, indicating pregnancy. Women are reminded to use morning urine when taking pregnancy tests, as the results are more accurate. After using the test paper, women should go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination in time.

2. B-ultrasound examination: Generally speaking, the earliest B-ultrasound examination can be performed in the 5th week of pregnancy, which is one week after the menstrual period. A round halo in the uterus, also known as the pregnancy ring, can be seen on the B-ultrasound screen. The dark area inside the ring is amniotic fluid, in which a rhythmic fetal heartbeat can also be seen. Using B-ultrasound to diagnose early pregnancy is the most accurate and reliable method.

The two methods of testing pregnancy introduced above are the ones we use most frequently. Generally speaking, the accuracy rate is also very high. Therefore, you might as well use this method to test after a few days of amenorrhea to avoid worrying. Timely countermeasures can be taken afterwards, and the pregnancy status can also be judged through symptoms such as breast pain, dizziness and nausea.
