What are the symptoms of cauliflower disease?

Many people don’t know much about cauliflower. In fact, cauliflower disease is genital warts. Cauliflower disease refers to a symptom after contracting genital warts. When genital warts are more serious, the patient’s diseased skin often appears in the shape of cauliflower. The harm of skin lesions is very serious, often causing renal bleeding, leading to erosion, causing the formation of tumors, etc., further endangering the patient’s health.

What are the symptoms of cauliflower disease?

In the early stage of genital warts, a needle tip or millet-sized papule with a light red or skin and mucous membrane color appears at the site of infection. The damage can occur singly, which is called single-incidence, or multiple damage can occur simultaneously or successively, which is called multiple-incidence.

Subsequently, the lesions gradually grow outside the skin or mucous membranes, and gradually grow larger and more numerous. Some lesions may fuse with each other to form growths or tumors of various sizes and shapes. These are the overt genital warts seen clinically. The color of genital warts is mostly red or light red, but can also be light white to grayish white, and may also vary depending on the location and type of lesions.

Causes of Cauliflower Disease

1. Direct transmission through sexual contact: There are many causes of cauliflower disease, and unclean sexual life is the main way of transmission of cauliflower disease. According to research, 2/3 of people who have sexual contact with cauliflower disease patients may suffer from cauliflower disease. HPV virus is usually transmitted through unclean sexual intercourse, through damaged skin and mucous membranes.

2. Indirect transmission through objects: Among the causes of cauliflower disease, the probability of indirect transmission through objects is also relatively high. HPV infection can be caused by contact with items used by people with HPV, such as underwear, bathtubs, and bath towels. Therefore, people who go out or travel should pay great attention to this method. If you have acne on your male genitals, you may be suffering from cauliflower disease.

3. Mother-to-child transmission: If the mother has cauliflower disease, it is possible to transmit the disease to the baby. Pregnant women with cauliflower disease, especially those with no obvious clinical symptoms but with viral infection in the cervix, will have viruses in their reproductive tract. During delivery, the fetus passes through the birth canal, leading to viral infection of the newborn and causing cauliflower disease in infants and young children. If you have polyps at the vaginal opening, you must pay attention, as it is likely to be cauliflower disease.
