Symptoms of vaginal wall bulging after normal delivery

Natural childbirth is the most common method of delivery, which refers to the delivery of the fetus from the mother's vagina. Although natural childbirth has many benefits, it can also cause certain harm to the mother. For example, during natural childbirth, bulging of the vaginal wall often causes prolapse of the vaginal opening, and a feeling of pelvic heaviness will occur after delivery, which can easily cause stress urinary incontinence and even cystitis, leading to uterine prolapse, etc.

Symptoms of vaginal wall bulging after normal delivery

The symptoms of vaginal wall prolapse include prolapse of the swelling at the vaginal opening, as well as urine overflow, a feeling of pelvic heaviness, a feeling of vaginal fullness, stress urinary incontinence, a feeling of incomplete urination, soreness in the lumbar and sacral region, frequent urination, and a heaviness in the lower abdomen, especially aggravated by squatting, coughing or straining. It may induce cystitis, uterine prolapse, urinary retention, etc.

How to treat vaginal wall bulging after normal delivery

First, mild bulging of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls does not cause any discomfort and is only found through examination. We can usually perform pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training on our own, namely anal levator training, which is to hold your breath and contract the pelvic floor muscles, which is equivalent to the action of stopping urination. Do rehabilitation training twice a day for ten to fifteen minutes each time.

Second, for severe prolapse of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls, in addition to pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training on your own, it is recommended to go to the hospital for rehabilitation treatment 42 days after delivery. Currently, many hospitals have pelvic floor rehabilitation equipment. If the symptoms are severe and affect the quality of life, surgical repair of the anterior or posterior vaginal wall can be performed.

The above is the treatment method for vaginal wall prolapse after normal delivery. If you are a pregnant woman with vaginal wall prolapse after normal delivery, you can learn about it. Although mild prolapse is not very serious and is likely to recover with subsequent physical recovery, if the prolapse is too severe, it is recommended to receive formal treatment.
