Why is the child cold?

Children have weak resistance and poor physical fitness, and they are prone to various physical problems if they are not careful. It is also not good for children to take too many medicines, as it will reduce their immunity. Children are the apple of their parents’ eyes. Parents will be very worried if there is any problem with them. Today, I will explain to parents why children suddenly feel cold and have cold hands and feet. Parents, let’s learn about this together.

1. This situation may occur in children with poor blood circulation or weak body. Pay attention to keeping your child warm, soak his feet every night, eat less cold food, drink less cold drinks, etc.

2. Children are prone to cold hands and feet mainly because they have poor ability to regulate body temperature. It is difficult for them to regulate their body temperature well in an overly cold or overheated environment. When children have cold hands and feet, we should first check whether the temperature of the living environment and the clothing and quilts are appropriate, as long as the tip of the nose and the back of the head are warm or not.

3. There are many reasons for cold hands and feet, which can generally be divided into the following points. There are four major reasons for cold hands and feet: 1. Circulatory disorders 1.) Weak heart cannot supply blood to the extremities of the body. 2.) Anemia: Insufficient circulating blood or low hemoglobin and red blood cells. 3.) The human body's blood vessels will contract and the blood return ability will be weakened, resulting in poor blood circulation in the hands and feet, especially the fingertips.

4. It is mainly due to viral infection. Now the phenomenon of chills has appeared again. It is considered that the baby has a fever. The high body temperature and the low outside temperature lead to the feeling of chills and discomfort. Now the room temperature is low, and the child says he is cold under the quilt. If you cover him too little, he will easily catch cold and aggravate the condition. In addition, you can also take physical cooling methods for the child, that is, use a towel dipped in warm water to wipe the neck and thighs. There are large blood vessels in these two places, and the blood flow rate is faster, which can take away a lot of heat.

It may be a sign before a child has a fever. It may be that the child's fever causes the blood vessels in the peripheral blood circulation to constrict, resulting in a decrease in peripheral blood flow and reduced heat dissipation. This raises the body temperature and causes fever.
