Homemade Kidney-tonifying Paste

Homemade Kidney-tonifying Paste

Many people with kidney deficiency feel cold limbs, cold waist, and chills all year round, which is even more unbearable in winter. Here I will introduce to you a kidney-tonifying ointment that you can make at home. You can choose the type of medicine to add according to your symptoms and take it according to the instructions. I believe that long-term use will solve your physical condition. Below is the method of making your own kidney-tonifying ointment, you can take a look.

Winter is a great time to take supplements. Taking paste can replenish the weak, regulate yin and yang, and resist aging and prolong life. Patients with insufficient qi and blood, deficiency of the five internal organs, weak constitution, or those who have undergone surgery, given birth, or are recovering from a serious illness, a severe disease, or a chronic wasting disease should take tonic ointments and medicines in winter.

1. Drug formula: 200 grams each of roasted Polygonum multiflorum and Poria cocos, 100 grams each of Polygonatum sibiricum, Lycium barbarum, and lotus leaf.

2. Add or subtract according to symptoms: For those with loose stools, add 200 grams each of Atractylodes macrocephala and yam; for constipation, add 200 grams each of black sesame, pine nuts and mulberries; for loss of appetite, add 200 grams of hawthorn and 150 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala; for dizziness and tinnitus, add 200 grams each of mulberries and chrysanthemum; for soreness of waist and knees, add 200 grams of Psoralea corylifolia and 100 grams of walnut kernels; for hot hands and feet, add 200 grams each of Ligustrum lucidum, Rehmannia glutinosa and Rehmannia root bark; for those who are usually afraid of cold and have cold hands and feet, add 200 grams each of Morinda officinalis and Cistanche deserticola, and 100 grams of antler glue (melted).

3. Preparation method: Put the above medicines into a large casserole (enamel pot is also fine), add water and boil for 2 hours, remove the residue and take the juice, then concentrate and boil until it flows down in thin flakes when picked up with chopsticks, then add 300 grams of honey, stir well, and store in a bottle or jar.

4. Efficacy: Nourishes the kidney and replenishes essence, benefits the spleen and stomach, nourishes the liver and moistens the lungs, calms the mind and delays aging.

5. Usage and Dosage: Generally take it from one week before the winter solstice to before the beginning of spring. Take with a small amount of boiled water (or hot rice wine) on an empty stomach in the morning. After one week, change to twice a day, in the morning and at night, on an empty stomach 1 hour before going to bed. Adults take 1 tablespoon each time, about 30 grams; children and infants are prohibited from taking it.

6. Note: Avoid eating raw, cold, greasy, spicy and other foods that are difficult to digest and have strong irritation during the period of taking the ointment. Do not drink strong tea, coffee, etc. Stop taking the medicine if you have a cold. If you experience abdominal distension, poor appetite, fatigue, loose stools and greasy tongue coating during medication, you can make tea with tangerine peel, citron slices, and amomum villosum. It is simple and practical. If necessary, you can choose Chinese patent medicines such as Shenling Baizhu Powder and Xiangsha Yangwei Pills to strengthen the spleen and appetite, regulate qi and relieve bloating to treat the symptoms.
