Is it a disease to dream whenever you sleep?

Dreaming whenever you sleep is a symptom of dreaming too much. There are many causes for this, and it is related to the overactive cerebral cortex and the failure to enter deep sleep. This phenomenon may also occur if you are under too much work pressure or are overly nervous during the day. Dreams are a normal sleep reaction, but if you dream too much, you should remain vigilant and seek medical attention in time.

Is it a disease to dream whenever you sleep?

Dreaming is a person’s normal sleep response. It can be said that everyone will dream when they sleep. Rather than saying that excessive dreaming leads to poor sleep quality, it is better to say that excessive dreaming occurs because of poor sleep quality.

Whether you have many dreams or not is related to the function of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nerves are divided into sympathetic nerves and parasympathetic nerves. During the day, the sympathetic nerves of the human body are in an excited state, supporting our study, work and various social activities.

When you fall asleep at night, the excitement of the sympathetic nervous system decreases, and the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for emotions, sleep, etc., begins to work instead.

If your negative emotions conflict with your sleep time, then insomnia will be very common, and it will be very difficult to fall asleep again after waking up.

This condition was previously called neurasthenia or autonomic dysfunction, but is now believed to be caused by anxiety or depression.

In fact, dreams come after people fall asleep. But if you are in a deep sleep state, you will not be able to recall these dreams after waking up, and you may not even feel that you were dreaming.

On the contrary, if you are in a light sleep state, you will recall your dreams after waking up and remember the contents of the dreams more or less. At this time, you will feel tired due to poor sleep quality.

If you have frequent dreams for more than two months, you should see a doctor

As the saying goes, "What you think about during the day, you dream about at night." Dreams can indeed reflect a person’s mental state during the day to a certain extent. For example, if your emotions are stable during the day, your dreams will be relatively peaceful. If you are in a state of high nervous tension during the day and have great inner conflicts, your dreams will be relatively "stimulating and tense".

Dreaming is a kind of neural activity, and all neural activities are related to neurotransmitters. If you are too nervous during the day and constantly stimulate the secretion of neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine, their highly vigorous secretion will affect your state after falling asleep, and continue to stimulate blood vessel contraction, increased heart rate, increased breathing rate, etc., which will inevitably affect the normal functioning of the autonomic nervous system.

If dreaming at night is caused by thinking about something during the day, if it is an individual condition, then there is no need to worry too much. As long as you adjust your mentality and mental state, and appropriately add vitamins, oryzanol, etc. to help regulate nerve function, you can alleviate the problem of dreaming.

Experts remind that dreaming is a symptom rather than a disease. Whether treatment is needed depends on whether it reaches the diagnosis of causing depression or anxiety. If the dreaminess persists for more than two months without improvement, you need to be alert and go to the hospital as soon as possible.
