Which vaccines should be taken at your own expense?

Getting vaccinated is something that each of us has experienced. Before going to school, anyone who went to get vaccinated would cry in front of their parents. After going to school and getting vaccinated with classmates, they realized the importance of "face", and no longer cried during injections. They also knew how to comfort them. The vaccines we get are different. Some vaccines require us to pay for them ourselves, while others are free. So which vaccines do I need to get at my own expense?

1. Flu vaccine

When the baby enters kindergarten, he or she starts living in a group environment. There are many other children in the kindergarten, and when there are so many people, the chance of influenza spreading is very high. Therefore, it is best to vaccinate your baby once a year before he or she enters kindergarten. Parents can also be more cautious, as influenza will be very troublesome once it breaks out.

2Hand, foot and mouth disease vaccine

I believe many parents have heard of this disease, which is a highly contagious and potentially fatal infectious disease. It often occurs in preschool children, especially those under 3 years old, where the incidence rate is highest, so hand, foot and mouth disease vaccination is quite necessary.

3Hib vaccine

Hib vaccine is also known as Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine. Hib is the abbreviation of Haemophilus influenzae type b. Hib is a pathogen that can cause serious illness and even death in infants and young children. It is mainly transmitted through air droplets. Children under 5 years old, especially infants under 2 months old, are easily infected. Hib vaccine is a Hib conjugate vaccine produced by covalently combining purified Hib capsular polysaccharide with tetanus toxoid. Vaccination with Hib vaccine is currently the most effective measure to prevent Hib infection. Due to the abuse of antibiotics, bacterial resistance has gradually increased, the therapeutic effect has gradually decreased, and antibiotics cannot avoid the occurrence of sequelae. Therefore, it is very important to immunize infants and young children to prevent infection.

4 7-valent pneumococcal vaccine, 13-valent pneumococcal vaccine

Pneumococcus can not only cause pneumonia in children, but is also a vector microorganism that causes diseases such as meningitis and otitis media. Pneumococcal vaccine is used to prevent diseases such as pneumonia, sepsis and meningitis caused by pneumococcus. It is a polysaccharide vaccine made by culturing and purifying polysaccharides from the common and most invasive pneumococcal serotypes, or a combined inactivated vaccine made by combining polysaccharides with carrier proteins for adsorption. During influenza season, secondary pneumococcal infection with influenza is a common cause of severe illness and even death. If conditions permit, it is recommended to vaccinate children.

5. Varicella vaccine

Chickenpox is an infectious disease characterized by a skin rash caused by infection with the varicella-zoster virus. The varicella virus is highly contagious, especially among children. The main transmission routes are air droplets, direct contact and vertical transmission from mother to child. Chickenpox often breaks out in kindergartens and primary schools. For babies infected with chickenpox, only isolation measures can be taken, so the most ideal way to prevent chickenpox is to get vaccinated.
