What medicine is good for myasthenia

What medicine is good for myasthenia

Tendons are the parts that connect muscles and bones. The intensity of daily exercise is high, and problems are likely to occur over time, leading to lesions. Tendonitis is the most common problem here. Once problems occur with the tendons, it will affect the movement of the entire human body. So, what medicine should you take if tendonitis occurs? This article discusses the treatment of tendinitis. Let me explain it in detail below.

Causes

It is caused by overuse of muscle fibers and repeated strong stretching, and is the result of the interaction of endogenous and exogenous factors. Endogenous factors include body-related factors such as poor alignment and poor muscle strength. Exogenous factors include training errors, poor equipment and skills, and venue changes. The interaction of extrinsic factors may also lead to the development of tendinopathy. External factors include: training errors such as distance, intensity, slope movement, technique and fatigue, training venue, etc., which play an important role in acute injuries.

treat

Conventional treatment

Ice compresses should be used in the acute phase, with the affected area applied for 20 minutes every few hours; the affected limb should be elevated and immobilized; for tendinitis of the upper limbs, a brace or plaster can be used to fix the affected area in a suitable functional position, and rest is the best way to relieve muscle tightness; for tendinitis in other parts of the body, an elastic bandage can be used to reduce edema. After the acute phase, develop an appropriate rehabilitation plan to improve muscle strength and restore range of motion.

Drug treatment

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can be used to relieve pain. For severe pain, local injection of steroid hormones can control inflammation and relieve pain. However, repeated steroid injections are not recommended because they can weaken the tendon and lead to tendon rupture.

physiotherapy

Taking a massage bath can help increase body temperature and improve blood circulation. If tendonitis occurs in the knee area, you can apply a warm, wet towel to it. In recent years, there have been reports of using ultrasound therapy to treat tendinitis, especially tendinitis accompanied by calcification, but its efficacy still needs further confirmation.
