A tumor on the chest

A tumor on the chest

Everyone knows that as long as we have a tumor in our body, we are likely to have cancer. Although tumors are sometimes divided into benign and malignant, the probability of having a benign tumor is still very small. When we have a tumor in our chest, the first thing we think of is to go to the hospital for treatment. Only through medical examination can we know whether it is cancer or just a skin disease.

I am particularly worried about my health now. I am still very young and my children are still very small. But last month, my company organized a physical examination and I was found to have something wrong. The doctor just said that a tumor was found in my chest, but he did not say what the specific problem was. I haven't told my family yet because I don't want them to worry about my health, but I am under a lot of psychological pressure. I don't know what the tumor in my chest is, and I don't know how much time I have left.

1. First of all, we don’t know the specific location of your tumor, so we don’t know whether it is a chest wall tumor, lung or mediastinum tumor. Generally, tumors are divided into benign and malignant. For benign cases, the patient will generally recover after surgery. Only a small number of cases will relapse and require surgery again. Malignant cases are mainly cancer and sarcoma, which are all bad things and generally require radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery.

2. Don’t worry too much. First of all, you should go to a regular hospital for a follow-up examination in time. As for whether you can be cured, it is actually difficult to say. It depends on whether your tumor is malignant or benign. It is benign and will not cause any complications.

3. In fact, no matter whether the tumor is malignant or benign, surgical treatment is required. There is no specific medicine. Don't fantasize that you can eliminate the tumor by taking Western medicine or Chinese medicine. That is all deceptive. You must go to a professional and regular hospital for treatment.

When a patient finds a tumor in his body, he is first advised to go to the hospital for a pathological analysis to test whether the tumor is benign or malignant. It is better to remove the tumor in time. Generally, if it is not malignant, it will heal after removal. In addition, you should eat a light diet after surgery.
