What causes aseptic inflammation of the Achilles tendon?

The Achilles tendon is an important part of the heel and plays a great role in people's health. A healthy Achilles tendon can have a positive effect on people's mobility, otherwise it will affect people's mobility. There may also be problems with the health of the Achilles tendon, especially inflammation, which is more prominent and has a greater impact. For example, aseptic inflammation of the Achilles tendon is a common problem with a high incidence rate. Let's take a look at what aseptic inflammation of the Achilles tendon is.

Achilles tendinitis generally refers to the aseptic inflammation caused by acute or chronic strain of the Achilles tendon. During exercise, the calf gastrocnemius and Achilles tendon are subjected to repeated excessive stretching. In addition, a sudden increase in the intensity or frequency of exercise can often cause Achilles tendonitis. Once the Achilles tendon is injured, it is usually difficult to heal. Like stomach problems, it requires a long period of conditioning.

Causes of Achilles tendinitis:

1. When the Achilles tendon is subjected to excessive pressure in a short period of time, strain, minor contusion or tear may occur, leading to aseptic inflammation.

2. If you start exercising before your body is fully active or adjusted, such as playing basketball, tennis, or other sports that require frequent stops, starts, and jumps, it is easy to get Achilles tendinitis.

3. Flat arches increase the risk of Achilles tendonitis. Flat feet can cause extra pressure on the Achilles tendon when walking.

4. Excessive exercise and long-term overload exercise.

symptom:

Pain, soreness, tenderness, and stiffness above and inside the heel that worsens with activity.

It can occur in any area of the Achilles tendon and the pain usually occurs in the early morning or during rest after strenuous exercise. There may be intense pain or tenderness when the two ends of the tendon are squeezed. As the disease progresses, the tendon may swell and develop nodules in the area of the disease.

1. Acute phase

Pain, swelling, redness and heat in the Achilles tendon when walking, running and other exercises.

2. Chronic stage

Achilles tendon pain or stiffness, often occurring in the early morning. Achilles tendon pain can be felt when walking, especially when climbing hills and stairs; chronic Achilles tendonitis is often long-term and persistent.
