Stomach pain, bloating, burping, nausea and vomiting

Many young people are often at risk of developing stomach problems due to unhealthy eating habits, such as missing the best time to eat due to laziness or smoking and drinking. Once you suffer from stomach disease, when the disease occurs, you will not only experience severe pain that makes it difficult to eat, but will also experience nausea, bloating, hiccups, etc. Therefore, for patients with stomach problems, it is very necessary to understand the causes of the problems and then prescribe the right medicine.

Sudden stomach pain usually starts with cramping, then burning pain, and then a dull ache. People who suffer from long-term stomach problems experience dull pain every day, bloating and pain if they don't pay attention to their diet, and sudden stomach pain three to four times a week. Indeed, stomachache is a major disease that affects our normal life and work. What is the cause of stomachache and vomiting? Is there any way to cure it? Let's take a look at the mechanism of stomachache.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, stomach pain is caused by external wind-cold, dampness-heat, spicy food, or physical and mental discomfort such as worry and anger. Most of the stomachaches are caused by cold air entering the stomach, stagnation of stomach meridians due to cold, and damaging of the spleen and stomach by eating raw, cold, sour, spicy and other irritating foods. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment is divided into many types of symptoms and the treatment is based on syndrome differentiation. The treatment methods are diverse and it is not easy for ordinary doctors and ordinary people to master them. Therefore, it is not the focus of this article and will not be elaborated.

From the perspective of modern medicine, frequent stomach pain corresponds to defects in the gastric mucosa, also known as destruction of the gastric protective barrier. Modern medicine believes that to cure stomach pain, it is necessary to repair the gastric mucosa and the protective barrier of the stomach. How to repair the gastric mucosa and the gastric protective barrier?

1. Reduce external stimuli. In particular, you should know the temperature and add or remove clothes at any time. What’s more important is to avoid certain foods, such as sour, cold, spicy, and other irritating foods. It’s also okay to eat raw garlic on an empty stomach. Don't drink coffee, cola, Sprite, ice water or any other stimulating drinks. Warm boiled water is the real love. During the days when you have stomachache, you should give up eating fruits as they are raw and cold foods. It is better to eat noodles, steamed buns and millet porridge with clear soup, and eat until you are 60% to 70% full.

2. Use the power of drugs to repair gastric mucosa

There are many types of stomach medicines. For frequent stomach pain, it is recommended to use medicines that have the function of repairing the gastric mucosa and accelerating the repair of the gastric protective barrier. There are many such drugs, and these Western medicines generally have certain side effects and cannot be taken for a long time. For example, colloidal bismuth is neurotoxic. Therefore, it is recommended to use traditional Chinese medicine, such as Sunflower Weikangling, which has a better effect and contains the ingredient Bletilla striata which can repair the gastric mucosa. Bletilla striata is the first choice of traditional Chinese medicine for repairing gastric mucosa. The reason why it has a significant effect in repairing gastric mucosa is that it can not only form a mucosal protective layer on the gastric mucosa (Bletilla striata contains a large amount of mucus) to prevent gastric acid from eroding the stomach wall, but also has the effect of enhancing the regeneration and repair ability of defective gastric mucosa.

After understanding the causes of stomach pain and vomiting, you also need to pay attention that although medication can repair the gastric mucosa quickly, it still takes a long time (half a month to two months) to repair the gastric mucosa. Such medications must be taken for a course of treatment, and you should not irritate the stomach again, only then can stomach problems be cured. If you stop taking the medicine when the stomach pain is gone, the gastric mucosa cannot recover completely and its defense function is still not up to standard. If you are cold or hot, eat too much or too little, drink soda or eat an apple, it will still cause stomach pain.
