Genital warts are a very troublesome disease because they are highly contagious and have a great impact on normal interactions between men and women. Many people think that genital warts only grow in the private parts of the human body. In fact, genital warts do not only grow in the private parts of the human body, but also occur in other parts of the human body. Let’s learn together about where genital warts grow. 1. Genital warts may occasionally appear in the mouth, armpits, navel, between the toes and under the breasts. The clinical manifestations of oral condyloma acuminatum are as follows: the lesions are mostly located in the frenulum of the tongue and its vicinity, the rash is nipple-shaped, cauliflower-shaped, cockscomb-shaped or cobblestone-like in appearance, the size of a mung bean to a broad bean, with clear boundaries, and the number varies from 1 to 10. The rash is mostly light red or bright red in color and bleeds easily when touched. Under the microscope, the epidermis showed diffuse parakeratosis and papilloma-like hyperplasia, with obvious hypertrophy of prickle cells, vacuolated cells, dilated capillaries in the superficial dermis and chronic inflammatory cell infiltration. 2. It is generally more common that the site of genital warts is moist, local secretions will increase, and the chance of bacterial infection will also increase. If bacterial infection of genital warts occurs, symptoms may include local redness, swelling, and pain, and may also cause erosion, ulceration, necrosis, exudation, or obvious purulent fluid. If the damage occurs in the female vagina or cervix, the amount of vaginal discharge may increase, change in color, and be accompanied by a foul odor. If the damage occurs in the female cervix, vaginal wall, vaginal opening, urethral opening or the male glans penis, foreskin, urethral opening, etc. It can cause bleeding after intercourse or when the lesions are rubbed, and can also cause pain. 3. If genital warts damage occurs in the urethra, the patient may experience urethral discomfort, overflow, macroscopic hematuria, secretions discharged from the urethra, a feeling of urethral obstruction, and difficulty urinating. These symptoms of genital warts are more obvious in men than in women. In men, there may be blood in the ejaculate. 4. Genital warts occur in the urethra. Frequent urination, urgency, pain, and changes in the urine flow curve may also occur. If the urethral lesions seriously involve the bladder, bilateral ureteral obstruction may occur, causing hydronephrosis, renal infection, and renal insufficiency. If the damage spreads to the pelvis, it may cause intestinal obstruction and lower limb edema. |
