3. Lie flat on the bed and apply a hot towel to the lumbar spine. You can use your hands to gently massage up and down along the entire vertebrae, or you can ask others for help. Be sure to cooperate with the hot compress, which has a more obvious effect. If conditions permit, you can apply hot mud to the waist, and then rub it up and down.

Traditional Chinese medicine is very effective in treating numbness in the legs and feet caused by lumbar spondylosis. If patients with lumbar spondylosis experience severe numbness in the legs and feet that is not relieved by activity, they need to have a timely check-up.
