Precautions after freezing corns

Precautions after freezing corns

The treatment of corns is still relatively difficult. Many current treatment methods cannot cure corns. Many patients do not see good results after a period of treatment. Moreover, you must not take it lightly after completing cryotherapy. There are many things that need to be paid attention to. If you don’t pay enough attention, bacterial infection will occur, which is completely detrimental to the active recovery of corns and will lead to side effects.

Corns are usually only the size of soybeans, slightly higher than the skin, light yellow in the center and darker around the edges. They are named corns because they look like chicken's eyes. The main symptom of corns is pain, which is especially obvious when walking. Corns are localized hyperplasia of the stratum corneum and often occur in the soles of the feet, between the toes, on the backs of the toes, and on the outsides of the little toes, which are subject to long-term friction and pressure. Ill-fitting or overly tight shoes are common causes of corns.

Things to note after having corns:

The treatment of corns cannot be completed in a day or two. You should wear comfortable shoes that fit your feet well in normal times to avoid foot deformities. When you feel that a part of your foot is squeezed and rubbed, you should use corn pads to reduce friction. You can also wear special shoes with special insoles to change the foot's bearing capacity and reduce friction.

Avoid spicy food. Some people in life like to eat spicy food and feel that they cannot live without spicy food. Patients with corns are prone to getting irritated if they eat spicy food, which will affect the recovery of corns. Therefore, it is best to avoid spicy food in life.

It is forbidden to eat when you have corns. The best way to decide is according to the condition of the disease. You should also communicate with the doctor during treatment and make a daily diet plan according to the doctor's advice to avoid improper treatment causing more serious harm to the patient.

Proper dietary care for corns can reduce pain to a certain extent when corns occur, and it can also help in the treatment of the disease.

Corns mostly occur because shoes do not fit well, so when buying shoes, you should choose shoes that are appropriately tight, suitable for the size of the foot, and have room for the toes to move. If you have corns, you should avoid wearing high heels to prevent them from getting worse. People with corns should reduce their activity and avoid friction or compression of their feet.
