How long does it take to get pregnant after the fallopian tube is opened?

The fallopian tubes play a role in the female reproductive system that cannot be ignored, because the eggs secreted by the female ovaries are mainly discharged from the body through the fallopian tubes. If the fallopian tubes are blocked, it will affect the egg discharge function, making it difficult for the female body to conceive. Many women have blocked fallopian tubes, which can actually be dredged, but how long does it take to get pregnant after the fallopian tubes are dredged?

It is not recommended for women to get pregnant within a short period of time after undergoing fallopian tube clearance surgery. It takes some time for the fallopian tubes to resume normal function after fallopian tube clearance, and sexual intercourse is prohibited within three months after the surgery to avoid infection.

There are three main situations of fallopian tube obstruction. The first is that the fallopian tube is unobstructed. This is milder than the fallopian tube function chart. As long as the fallopian tube is unobstructed, pregnancy can be achieved. The second situation is that the fallopian tube is blocked. The damage is relatively minor. Most fallopian tubes are normal. In this case, the chance of pregnancy after unblocking is also quite high. The third situation is that the fallopian tube is blocked.

Treatment of fallopian tube obstruction may fall into three categories depending on the degree of fallopian tube obstruction:

The first is that the fallopian tube is blocked, which is caused by debris, shed cells or blood clots in the tube; or the fallopian tube is too thin and curved; or the fallopian tube is adhered to the pelvic wall and adjacent organs, pulling the movement of the fallopian tube. Laparoscopy can be used for treatment. For adhesion outside the tube, it can also be cut and decomposed by laparoscope to loosen the fallopian tube. After treatment, most patients can become pregnant.

The second situation is that the fallopian tube is blocked. The damage is less serious, but most of the fallopian tubes are normal. In this case, the fallopian tube can be cleared or the tube can be placed for 24 hours through combined uterine and abdominal surgery. If there is hydrosalpinx, an opening can be made on it to drain the fluid, and the fallopian tube can be turned over and sutured to prevent adhesion again. Generally speaking, the effect of surgery for blocked fallopian tubes is better, and the success rate can reach more than 90%.

The third situation is that the fallopian tube is completely blocked and severely damaged. In this case, it is mostly due to delayed treatment due to a long course of the disease or fallopian tube tuberculosis infection.

Time of salpingography

The best time to do hysterosalpingography is within 3 to 7 days after the end of menstruation. For patients with irregular menstruation, it can be delayed to 10 days. For patients with particularly irregular menstruation, such as amenorrhea, it can be done at any time, but the possibility of pregnancy must be ruled out. A very small number of women will have a small amount of vaginal bleeding in the last month of pregnancy. Therefore, women with scanty menstruation or amenorrhea must rule out the possibility of pregnancy.
