Arm elbow pain

Arm elbow pain

The elbows of the human arm are very easy to be injured because it is an area that likes to bend very much. If a collision occurs while bending, it is easy to injure the arm and leave scars and bruises. Once elbow pain occurs, it will affect the use of the entire arm. But pain in the elbow is not only caused by external impact, but also by other reasons.

1. Elbow injury

Accidental injuries to the arm such as heavy blows, crushing, collisions, and injuries can cause a large number of capillaries inside the tissue to rupture, blood to rapidly seep out, and there is local congestion. The main manifestations are redness and swelling of the joints, pain, and restricted movement.

2. Staying in a humid environment for a long time

If you stay in a cold and damp place for a long time, or do not take proper measures to keep warm, wind, cold and dampness will invade your body. Or if you are physically weak, have kidney deficiency, spleen deficiency and lack of vital energy, the wind will stay in the meridians and joints, which will cause joint pain over time.

3. Radial nerve compression

When the radial nerve runs from the neck to the armpit, back along the arm and then forward, if it is accidentally compressed, it can also cause symptoms of elbow pain, which is also one of the more common symptoms.

4. Radial-humeroscapular joint dysfunction

Dysfunction of the radiohumeral joint can lead to inflammation of the tissues of the radiohumeral joint such as the tendons, ligaments, synovial fluid, etc. If this condition is not treated in time, it will cause pain, especially if you lift heavy objects, the pain will be aggravated.

If you have the above reasons, it is easy to have joint pain. Therefore, you should take good care of the disease in normal times, such as not lifting heavy objects, reducing hand strength, and paying attention to more rest. You can use hot compresses or massage methods to relieve symptoms. If the symptoms are serious, you should go to the hospital for treatment.
