What causes stomach pain when you are pregnant?

In the early stages of pregnancy, abdominal pain is a normal physiological reaction. This is caused by the enlarged uterus stimulating the bones. Pregnant women will feel a dull pulling pain in the abdomen. However, it is worth noting that some abdominal pains are pathological and may indicate signs of miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.
