Vulvar bleeding and pain

Vulvar bleeding and pain

Vulvar bleeding and pain are mainly caused by vaginitis or gynecological diseases. Vaginitis, a common disease, is mainly caused by the infection caused by female friends' failure to pay attention to their personal hygiene and unhygienic sexual life. Therefore, it is recommended that female friends pay attention to the cleanliness of the vagina. When vulvar bleeding and pain occur, timely treatment should be sought to avoid affecting future pregnancy problems.

Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vaginal mucosa and submucosal connective tissue and is a common disease in gynecological clinics. In normal healthy women, due to its anatomical and biochemical characteristics, the vagina has a natural defense function against the invasion of pathogens. When the natural defense function of the vagina is destroyed, pathogens can easily invade and cause vaginal inflammation. The treatment of vaginitis requires a certain course of treatment, and the improvement of symptoms such as itching is often obvious one or two days after taking the medicine. Failure to remove the pathogenic factors is also the reason for the recurrence of vaginitis. If there is swelling and pain, and blood in the urine, it may be caused by inflammation of the urethra. If you haven't had your period for more than a month, you should first consider whether you are pregnant.

If you are not pregnant, you need to check to find out what caused the delayed menstruation. Now the test result is negative, and we need to rule out any interfering factors. If you are pregnant, you cannot take medication to avoid fetal malformation. So now we need to observe and then check again to make a clear diagnosis before taking medication.

Fungal vaginitis

Vaginitis candidiasis is one of the most common vaginitis. The most common symptoms of vaginitis candidiasis are excessive vaginal discharge, burning and itching of the vulva and vagina. It may affect the urethra and cause frequent urination. Symptoms such as urinary urgency and pain when urinating. The leucorrhea is typically curd-like or flaky. The vaginal and vestibule mucosa are highly edematous and covered with a white curd-like film, which is distributed in dots or sheets and is easy to peel off. Underneath is a damaged, flushed base, which may form ulcers or leave bruises. In severe cases, the labia minora are swollen and adherent. However, not all leucorrhea has the above typical characteristics. It can range from watery to curd-like leucorrhea. Some are completely thin and clear serous exudates, which often contain white flakes.

Trichomonas vaginitis

The main symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis include increased leucorrhea, which is milky white or yellow, sometimes purulent, often foamy and smelly. In severe cases, there is bloody leucorrhea, dysuria, frequent urination, and hematuria.

Nonspecific vaginitis

The main symptoms of nonspecific vaginitis include a feeling of vaginal heaviness and burning, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. Vaginal discharge increases and becomes purulent, serous, and has a foul odor. Because the secretions irritate the urethral opening, it can cause frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.

Bacterial vaginosis

If you have bacterial vaginosis, the amount of leucorrhea will increase, and it will be grayish white, relatively thin, and foamy. Vaginal mucosal congestion, scattered bleeding spots, vulvar itching and burning sensation, and vaginal odor are all typical symptoms of bacterial vaginitis. If bacterial vaginosis is not treated in time, it can induce genital infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, perinephritis, pain during sexual intercourse, etc.

Senile vaginitis

The main symptoms of senile vaginitis include increased leucorrhea, which is yellow and watery. In severe cases, it may be purulent and have a foul odor. Sometimes it may be bloody or accompanied by spotting. There is itching or burning sensation in the vulva, dryness and pain, and distension in the lower abdomen. When the urethra is affected, there may be frequent, urgent, and painful urination.
