How to correct ankle curvature

First of all, of course, exercise. There is a simple method: separate your feet with the width of shoulders, point your toes inward, straighten your legs, then squat, and then stand up. Repeat 20 times as a set. Rest for 10 minutes and do the second set. Do 4 sets every day. If you do this for 1 month, the inner calf muscles will be strengthened. If you feel that you cannot persist in exercising or the effect is too slow, you can use a smart electric belt to speed up local leg exercise and metabolism.

The second method is to wear shoes that are higher on the outside and lower on the inside, or to put corrective insoles in the shoes that are higher on the outside and lower on the inside.

In this way, the inner calf muscles will be more tense when walking and standing, thereby being exercised and strengthened.

When exercising with these two methods, you should also pay attention to your usual walking posture and find out if you have any bad postures that cause you to use more force on the outside when walking or standing. If you find these postures, you must correct them. This is the only way to solve the root of the problem.

The third situation: O-shaped legs

When your feet are together and standing upright, there is a gap between the knee joints. This is what is truly considered O-shaped legs.

The main reason why people with O-shaped legs appear to have crooked calves is that their weight-bearing line is offset, causing the outer sides of the legs to exert force while the inner sides exert less force when walking and standing. The outer muscles of the calves and thighs are strong, while the inner muscles are weak. This creates a large gap between the thighs and calves. At the same time, because the outer muscles become wider, the calves not only look bloated, but also appear visually crooked.

Third, when people with bow legs stand upright, their calves are tilted, which makes their calves appear crooked.

Therefore, as long as the O-shaped legs can be corrected and the knee joints can be closed, the body's weight-bearing line will return to normal, and the inner sides of the legs will exert force while the outer sides will reduce force when walking and standing. The inner calf muscles will gradually become fuller and the outer muscle lines will gradually become straighter, so that the calves will no longer appear bent.
