Ectopic pregnancy rate

Ectopic pregnancy rate

Since the egg and sperm combine in the female body to form a fertilized egg, the fertilized egg must move properly into the female's uterus through its own movement. If it is disturbed by external factors during the movement, it is likely to cause an ectopic pregnancy. The causes of ectopic pregnancy are also complex and varied. If you ejaculate outside the body during sexual intercourse, will it cause ectopic pregnancy?

Will ejaculation outside the body lead to ectopic pregnancy?

You should know that if the migration process of the fertilized egg is disturbed, it may cause ectopic pregnancy. The most common cause of tubal pregnancy is chronic salpingitis. The inflammation causes the fallopian tube to deform and narrow, with poor motility or even blockage, which hinders the movement of the fertilized egg. The second is the hypoplasia of the fallopian tube. The fallopian tube is thin and long, with weak peristalsis, which causes the fertilized egg to move slowly and cannot reach the uterine cavity in time and is implanted in the fallopian tube. Therefore, ectopic pregnancy has nothing to do with whether ejaculation is outside the body or not, it only has to do with the fallopian tube.

In addition, ejaculation outside the body is not a reliable means of pregnancy, and it is less likely for sperm and egg to combine than ejaculation inside the body.

Ectopic pregnancy is a very dangerous thing for women. Patients may experience lower abdominal pain, a feeling of defecation, sometimes severe pain, accompanied by cold sweats. When rupture occurs, the patient suddenly feels tearing pain in one side of the lower abdomen, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Menstruation will stop, but vaginal bleeding will usually be light. In addition, if a woman has undergone abdominal surgery such as appendicitis, her chances of suffering from ectopic pregnancy will increase, and the rate of cesarean section will also increase. In case of ectopic pregnancy, it is best not to use medical abortion, but to go to a regular hospital for uterine-preserving abortion to avoid affecting future fertility.

In order to reduce or prevent the occurrence of ectopic pregnancy, prospective parents should choose a time when both parties are in a good mood and physical condition. If you are not considering becoming a mother for the time being, you must take good contraceptive measures. Good contraception fundamentally prevents the occurrence of ectopic pregnancy.

What are the causes of ectopic pregnancy?

Generally speaking, after the fertilized egg implants outside the uterine cavity, it continues to develop. This is called an ectopic pregnancy, and fallopian tube pregnancy is the most common. As the baby grows bigger day by day, it will gradually rupture the fallopian tube. If it is not treated in time, it will affect the health of women. Usually, there are no obvious symptoms before miscarriage or even rupture. Once rupture occurs, women will feel severe pain. In order to preserve fertility, timely treatment is necessary.

The causes of ectopic pregnancy include inflammation of the fallopian tube, which is a pathological cause. Experts show that it can be divided into fallopian tube mucositis and fallopian tube peri-inflammation. Both of these inflammations are the most common causes of ectopic pregnancy. When fallopian tube mucositis is severe, it can cause complete obstruction of the tubal lumen, leading to infertility. For milder cases of fallopian tube mucosal adhesion and ciliary defects, the movement of the fertilized egg will be hindered, thus affecting implantation.

Other causes of ectopic pregnancy include fallopian tube dysplasia or abnormal function. Once the fallopian tube is dysplastic, common symptoms include excessively long fallopian tubes, poor development of the muscle layer, and lack of mucosal cilia, all of which are likely to lead to fallopian tube pregnancy. We must know that once the secretion of estrogen and progesterone is abnormal, it will also affect the normal operation of sperm and eggs.

For the sake of health and to prevent related inflammatory diseases, it is important to prevent infections of the reproductive system. You must pay attention to hygiene during menstruation and do not have sexual intercourse before your menstruation is over, otherwise it will easily bring in related germs and cause infection.
