Bleeding after ectopic pregnancy surgery

Bleeding after ectopic pregnancy surgery

Because there is a high probability that ectopic pregnancy will implant in the woman's fallopian tube, after an ectopic pregnancy occurs, some women with more serious conditions must have their fallopian tubes removed, at which point the woman's body may become infertile for life. And after the ectopic pregnancy surgery, women should also pay attention to their physical recovery, because ectopic pregnancy surgery is no less than abortion surgery, but is it normal to bleed from the lower body after ectopic pregnancy surgery?

An ectopic pregnancy is also known as an ectopic pregnancy. It means that the fertilized egg implants somewhere other than the uterine cavity. More than 90% of ectopic pregnancies are tubal pregnancies. The symptoms of ectopic pregnancy before miscarriage or rupture are different, and a small number of them will have symptoms of lower abdominal distension and pain. Acute ectopic pregnancy will cause vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain six weeks after menstruation, and irregular vaginal bleeding will occur after the embryo dies. There may even be shock and fainting.

When we are pregnant, we should first go when both men and women are in a good mood, and it would be best if there are no health problems. If you don't want to get pregnant, you must take contraceptive measures to avoid ectopic pregnancy. Many ectopic pregnancies are caused by contraceptive failure.

The main treatment for ectopic pregnancy is surgery. Conservative surgery can be performed, which means preserving the fallopian tube on the affected side. Another type of surgery is to remove the fallopian tube on the affected side. Generally, conservative surgery is required for women who have not given birth yet, but now more and more people are choosing this treatment method. If the amount of bleeding after ectopic pregnancy surgery is not large, it is caused by thickening of the endometrium. However, if there is persistent bleeding, it is abnormal and you should go to the hospital for examination immediately. It is very likely that a uterine curettage will be required. After the ectopic pregnancy surgery, you should pay attention to rest and you can get out of bed and move around after one week.

Note:

Patients with ectopic pregnancy should eat more high-calorie, high-protein, and high-vitamin foods, and the food should be easy to digest. After the operation, you should also pay attention to keeping warm, avoid using air conditioning, and control inflammation.
