How to treat hemiplegia with high muscle tension

How to treat hemiplegia with high muscle tension

I believe that many people do not know the treatment for the symptom of high muscle tone in hemiplegia, because hemiplegia can cause patients to have symptoms of hemiplegia and the body's motor function is pathologically affected. Many people will give up exercising their joints, which will cause aging of joints in other parts of the body. For cases of high muscle tone in hemiplegia, we should choose treatment according to the doctor's advice and treat it according to the symptoms.

Hemiplegia, also known as half of the body paralysis, refers to the movement disorder of the upper and lower limbs, facial muscles and lower part of the tongue muscles on one side. It is a common symptom of acute cerebrovascular disease. Although patients with mild hemiplegia can still move, when they walk, their upper limbs are often flexed and their lower limbs are straight. The paralyzed lower limbs make a half circle with each step. This special walking posture is called hemiplegic gait. In severe cases, patients are often bedridden and lose their ability to live. The causes of hemiplegia are diverse and complex. Generally speaking, they are inextricably linked to diseases such as increased blood lipids and increased blood viscosity.

1. The clinical manifestations are: 1. Mild hemiplegia. In cases of extremely mild hemiplegia, such as the early stages of progressive hemiplegia, or the intervals between attacks of transient hemiplegia, the paralysis is mild and can be easily missed without careful examination. 2. Flaccid hemiplegia is manifested by voluntary movement disorders of the upper and lower limbs on one side accompanied by obvious hypotonia. The voluntary muscles are obviously paralyzed, while the involuntary muscles may not be paralyzed, such as gastrointestinal motility, bladder muscles, etc.

3. Spastic hemiplegia, which is characterized by significantly increased muscle tone. The extensor muscles of the upper limbs and the flexor muscles of the lower limbs are obviously paralyzed, and the muscle tone is significantly increased. Therefore, the upper limbs are flexed, the lower limbs are extended, the fingers are in a flexed state, and there is a feeling of stiffness and resistance when the hands are passively extended. 4. Hemiplegia due to impaired consciousness, manifested by sudden impaired consciousness accompanied by hemiplegia, often with the head and eyes tilted to one side.

3. For hemiplegia, regular physical examinations are an important measure to prevent stroke and hemiplegia. For people over 40 years old, especially those with hypertension, diabetes or a family history of stroke, regular physical examinations can help prevent stroke by early detection and treatment of risk factors for stroke.

Note:

Physical exercise helps recover from hemiplegia; it can enhance physical fitness, improve disease resistance, and delay aging; it can enhance heart function, improve vascular elasticity, promote blood circulation throughout the body, increase blood flow to the brain, promote lipid metabolism, and increase the content of high-density lipoprotein in the blood, thereby preventing arteriosclerosis. Long-term exercise can reduce weight and prevent obesity. Therefore, physical exercise is an important measure to prevent hemiplegia.
