Is emphysema contagious?

Is emphysema contagious?

Do you feel fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite, and upper abdominal bloating? Accompanied by symptoms such as coughing and sputum, shortness of breath is only felt when working or exercising. Gradually, the breathing difficulty becomes more severe, and you still feel short of breath even with a little activity or complete rest. If you have the above symptoms, it means that you may have emphysema.

Is emphysema contagious? First of all, we need to understand what emphysema is. Emphysema refers to a pathological state in which the airway elasticity at the distal end of the terminal bronchioles is reduced, over-expanded, inflated, and the lung volume increases, or is accompanied by airway wall destruction. According to the cause of the disease, emphysema has the following types: senile emphysema, compensatory emphysema, interstitial emphysema, focal emphysema, paraseptal emphysema, and obstructive emphysema. This condition is a medical disease and is not contagious. I will introduce the causes and dietary treatment of emphysema to you.

Causes of Emphysema

It is generally believed to be related to bronchial obstruction and protease-antiprotease imbalance. Smoking, infection and air pollution can cause bronchiolar inflammation, stenosis or obstruction of the bronchial lumen. When inhaling, the lumen of the bronchioles expands and air enters the alveoli; when exhaling, the lumen shrinks, air is trapped, and the intra-alveolar pressure continues to increase, causing the alveoli to over-expand or even rupture. The loss of radial traction around the bronchioles causes the bronchioles to contract and narrow. Thickening of the pulmonary vascular endothelium, reduced blood supply to the alveolar wall, weakened alveolar elasticity, etc., all contribute to the rupture of expanded alveoli. In cases of infection, the activity of proteases in the body increases. People with α1-antitrypsin deficiency have a weakened ability to inhibit proteases, making them more susceptible to emphysema.

prescription:

1/2 pound of sesame oil, 1/2 pound of rock sugar, 5 pig gallbladders, a handful of red mushroom skins

usage:

Cut the skin of the pig's gallbladder and pour out the juice. Then, boil the pig bile, sesame oil, rock sugar, and red mushroom skin in water for two hours. The method of boiling is the same as that of decocting Chinese medicine. When the medicinal soup is boiled down to about two bottles of mineral water, take out the medicine. Patients should drink 1 cup (9-cent cup) half an hour after meals every morning and evening. For patients with mild bronchitis, drinking this medicine for two or three days will show results. For patients with emphysema, the effect will be better if they drink the medicine for two courses of treatment.

Some people may question my prescription, saying that sesame oil is just a condiment, how can it cure any disease? Don’t underestimate sesame oil, it can delay aging, protect blood vessels, and moisturize the intestines and promote bowel movements. At the same time, it is also quite effective for respiratory diseases. Do not eat irritating food, and the food must ensure the supply of protein and iron. Avoid gas-producing foods, such as leeks. I wish you a speedy recovery.
