Drinking beer causes diarrhea

In life, besides water and tea, the most popular drink is beer, especially in the summer, when you can enjoy barbecue and beer at various food stalls, which is extremely comfortable and a great way to relieve the heat. Moreover, beer is cool in nature and can also treat constipation. But drinking too much beer can easily lead to weight gain, especially a beer belly. Why do some people get diarrhea after drinking beer?

Summer is here, it is the season for selling beer, but beer cannot be consumed without restraint. Many people, especially men, drink beer without restraint in the summer, which results in beer bellies and dizziness every day. Drinking beer in moderation is good for you, and beer has many uses now, such as making beer duck, beer beef, etc.

Why do I get diarrhea after drinking beer?

1. Beer mold

Some people may have diarrhea after drinking beer because they have an allergic reaction to certain types of beer, which triggers diarrhea caused by allergic enteritis. The allergen may be mold, which is caused by moldy and spoiled beer. Therefore, when drinking beer, consumers should pay attention to whether there is mold inside or on the bottom of the bottle before deciding whether to drink it or not.

2. Improper food combination

In summer, many people often suffer from diarrhea after drinking beer. Experts explain that the main reason for diarrhea after drinking beer is because there is a problem with the food combination. Experts believe that barbecue, seafood, and smoked and marinated foods are the foods that are least suitable to be paired with beer.

When drinking beer, you should pair it with peanuts, fruits and various light dishes to avoid various uncomfortable symptoms such as diarrhea.

3. It may be colitis

Patients with this type of diarrhea usually have inflammatory lesions such as congestion and edema of the colon mucosa due to various pathogenic factors, which is commonly known as colitis. Most patients with chronic colitis suffer from weak spleen and stomach. If these patients eat some spicy food in the summer, such as hot peppers or cold food, the intestinal mucosa will be easily irritated. Once the intestinal mucosa is stimulated too much or frequently, the inflammation will easily worsen and diarrhea will occur.

...Drink beer in moderation, especially for women. It is best not to exceed 450 ml at a time. Also, do not mix beer with cold foods such as seafood, cucumber, bitter gourd, etc., as they can easily cause diarrhea. There are many reasons why drinking beer can cause diarrhea. Summer is here, so you should drink beer in moderation and take your health into consideration to avoid diarrhea.
