What to do if the cervical meridian is blocked

What to do if the cervical meridian is blocked

Blockage of the cervical meridians often leads to cervical spondylosis, which will cause soreness and swelling of the neck muscles, as well as more obvious symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and weakness in the limbs. At this time, some methods of dredging the meridians can be used for treatment. The meridians correspond to some acupoints, such as rubbing the Houxi acupoint, patting the elbow pits, massaging the Yintang acupoint, etc., all of which have a certain relieving and therapeutic effect.

What to do if the cervical meridian is blocked

1. Rub the Houxi acupoint on your hand

Rolling your wrists back and forth on the edge of the table can provide stimulation. You only need to take three minutes every day to massage this. In the long run, it can have better therapeutic effects on the cervical and lumbar vertebrae.

2. Pat your elbows

There are three meridians passing through the elbow pits: the pericardium meridian, heart meridian, and lung meridian. Therefore, patting the elbow pits can help the body expel heat and toxins from the lungs and heart. When clapping, keep your hands relaxed. Clap each arm for about 5 minutes, and you will see toxins appear in different colors such as blue, red, purple, etc. The darker the color, the more toxins there are.

3. Press the Yintang acupoint

Press the Yintang point once and then release it. This counts. Press about 40 times at a time, which can improve endocrine, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular functions.

4. Press the bladder meridian

Sit on a level surface with your legs straight and reach forward with both hands until your hands reach the bladder meridian. Do it for 15 minutes to 30 minutes at a time.

5. Do the butterfly pose in yoga

People who sit in the office for a long time can do this exercise when they get home. Grab the toes with your hands, then open your knees to both sides, keep your waist straight, and then swing both knees up and down towards the floor. Do it for about 10 minutes at a time. Persistence can promote blood circulation in the human pelvis and improve the body's flexibility.

In life, we should develop good living habits. First of all, we need to strengthen exercise, such as the Chinese medicine's guiding method Ba Duan Jin and Wu Qin Xi, which are suitable for people of all ages and can strengthen muscles and bones over time. Secondly, keep your mood happy and your qi will flow smoothly so that you will not get sick. When you feel unwell, adjust yourself early to help your qi and blood flow smoothly, and your symptoms will improve.
