2. Other treatments

① For cupping method, select Dazhui, Shenzhu, Dazhui and Feishu points. Leave the cups for 15 minutes before removing them, or use flash cupping. This method is suitable for colds caused by wind and cold.

② For ear acupuncture, select the lungs, inner nose, lower diaphragm tip, and forehead, and use medium to strong stimulation. For sore throat, add filiform needle acupuncture to the throat and tonsils.

③ Patching therapy: Take 2 cloves of garlic, mash their juice and mix with flour to make a cone shape, and plug it into the nostrils (alternating between the two sides), leaving it in for 15-20 minutes each time, 4.5 times a day. It has the effects of dispelling wind and cold, promoting lung function and opening the orifices, and is suitable for treating colds caused by wind and cold.

④ External treatment: Take 30 grams each of scallion white and ginger, 5 grams of salt, mash them into a paste, add appropriate amount of white wine and mix well, wrap it with gauze, and apply it to the chest, back, elbows, and soles of the hands and feet. It generally has the effect of dispelling exterior pathogens and you will sweat about 15 minutes after application, and all cold symptoms can be relieved.
