What are the benefits of horse food?

Many people may not have heard of wasp grass, or some people have seen it but don’t know its name. It is very effective for postpartum hemorrhage in pregnant women, and can also treat many diseases such as bloody stools. There are different ways to cook it depending on personal taste. Its benefits are so numerous that it would take a long time to describe them all. It is basically suitable for people of all ages. However, it should be noted that some ingredients cannot be eaten together, as eating them together will cause physical discomfort.

Purslane is commonly known as hornet grass, hornet vegetable, also called longevity vegetable, longevity vegetable, and five elements grass. It is a wild vegetable that grows in fields in summer and autumn. Purslane is cold in nature, sweet and sour in taste; it enters the heart, liver, spleen, and large intestine meridians. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the effects of purslane are clearing away heat and detoxifying, promoting diuresis and removing dampness, dispersing blood and reducing swelling, removing dust and killing bacteria, reducing inflammation and relieving pain, and stopping bleeding and cooling blood.

It is mainly used to treat dysentery, enteritis, nephritis, postpartum uterine bleeding, bloody stool, mastitis and other diseases. Purslane is an important medicine for treating bacillary dysentery. It can be used alone as a decoction, or it can be used together with other medicines such as Polygonum hydropiper. The effect is better when fresh ones are used. Since Purslane can be eaten as a vegetable and is safe even when used in large quantities, it is a medicine worthy of attention.

Nowadays, it is mostly used to treat enteritis, acute arthritis, cystitis, urethritis, anus inflammation, hemorrhoidal bleeding and other diseases. Purslane contains protein, fat, multiple vitamins and amino acids, and is also rich in copper.

Copper ions in the body are an important component of tyrosinase, and copper deficiency leads to reduced melanin production. Regular consumption of purslane can increase the density of melanocytes in the epidermis and the activity of tyrosinase in melanocytes. It can be used as an auxiliary dietary dish for patients with vitiligo and patients with gray hair due to copper deficiency.

Purslane contains a large amount of norepinephrine and potassium salt, as well as a lot of nutrients such as dihydroxyethylamine, malic acid, saccharide, vitamins B1 and B2. Experiments have confirmed that it has a strong inhibitory effect on many bacteria such as Shigella dysenteriae, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, etc., and is known as a "natural antibiotic". People often use 120 grams of fresh purslane (60 grams of dried purslane) and 60 grams of japonica rice to cook porridge, or use fresh purslane juice and large doses of water decoction to treat damp-heat diarrhea, acute enteritis, dysentery and other symptoms. It is a natural medicine for clearing heat, detoxifying and reducing inflammation.

In addition, the norepinephrine in purslane can promote insulin secretion, regulate sugar metabolism in the human body, and has the effect of lowering blood sugar concentration and maintaining blood sugar stability; potassium salt can lower blood pressure, slow down heart rate, and has the effect of protecting the heart. Purslane also contains a large amount of anti-aging active ingredients such as vitamin E, vitamin C, carotene and glutathione. Purslane also contains more carotene, which can promote ulcer healing.
