[Examples of acupoint pairing] Tianshu is used to treat cholera vomiting and diarrhea (Acupuncture and Moxibustion Dacheng, Chapter 8); Zusanli is used to treat jaundice and weakness of the limbs (Yulong Jing); Qihai is used to treat blood in the stool, vomiting blood, and fullness in the wrist and abdomen (Acupoints); Neiguan and Zusanli are used to treat stomachache and vomiting (Acupuncture and Moxibustion).

Combined with Tianshu, it has the effects of harmonizing the stomach, relieving counterflow, eliminating dampness and removing filth. It is mainly used to treat cholera vomiting and diarrhea.

Combined with Qi Hai, it has the effect of invigorating Qi and absorbing blood. It is mainly used to treat bloody stool, hematemesis, and abdominal distension and pain.

Combined with Zusanli, it has the effects of harmonizing stomach qi, lifting spleen qi, removing dampness and turbidity. It is mainly used to treat stomachache, diarrhea, jaundice, and weakness in the limbs.

It is paired with Weishu, which belongs to the Yu-Mu acupoint pairing method. It has the effects of regulating the stomach, relieving the stomach and promoting qi. It is mainly used to treat epigastric distension, loss of appetite, vomiting and hiccups.

"Dacheng": The meeting point of the hand Taiyang, Shaoyang, foot Yangming and Ren meridians.
