1. Treatment principles

(1) Discontinue use of all suspected allergenic drugs and drugs with similar structures. (2) Drink more water or receive intravenous fluids to promote the excretion of drugs in the body. (3) Patients with mild symptoms should be given antihistamines, vitamin C and calcium supplements. In severe cases, glucocorticoids should be added. For particularly severe drug rashes, take various measures as early as possible. (4) Prevent and control secondary infection. (5) Supportive therapy, paying attention to fluid replacement and maintaining electrolyte balance. For patients with mucosal damage, the mucosa should be actively protected, especially the conjunctiva, to prevent corneal opacity and mucosal adhesion. Children should pay attention to the erosion of the glans and foreskin, which may cause foreskin stenosis. 2. Local treatment

For mild drug eruptions, local antipruritic measures can be used, the eroded surface can be adsorbed, and it can be kept clean and healed quickly. For severe drug eruptions, it is best to use dry exposure therapy (under an infrared lamp) or local revulol wet compresses or external application of PC cream, air disinfection, and the use of sterile sheets and bedding.

Regarding the treatment of drug-induced dermatitis, in addition to stopping taking all suspicious drugs in a timely manner, you also need to drink more water and use local antipruritic measures. Therefore, when you seek medical treatment, be sure to write down any obvious history of drug allergies in your medical record, so that the doctor can understand your physical condition better and avoid the occurrence of drug rash.
