When it comes to cancer, many people are afraid in their hearts, because most people have more or less come into contact with or seen cancer patients in real life and know the pain of having cancer. People's fear is not only about this aspect. The main reason is that if you get cancer, it is basically incurable and you may end your life in pain, which is something no one wants to see. The reason why cancer is so powerful is entirely because of the harm that cancer cells cause to the human body.

Cancer cells evolve from normal cells under the stimulation of certain factors. Not only are they highly destructive to the human body, but they also reproduce very quickly. If cancer is discovered early, it can still be controlled; if cancer cells spread, there is almost no hope of cure. Let’s take a look at how cancer cells spread.

Scientists point out that cancer cells encounter many difficulties during the metastasis process. First, they have to undergo dozens of mutations, then overcome intercellular adhesion to break away, and change their shape to pass through dense connective tissue. After successfully escaping, the cancer cell will enter the blood through the microvessels, where it may also be attacked by white blood cells. The cancer cells will then enter a new organ through the microvasculature (now called "micrometastasis").

Cancer is "rampant and lawless" and is often restless, spreading rapidly to other organs. This nature is related to the way cancer grows and the characteristics of cancer cells. The reasons can be summarized as follows:

First, cancer cells reproduce quickly. As their number increases rapidly, the original space cannot accommodate so many cells, and the cells at the edge of the tumor are "squeezed" into the surrounding tissues.

Second, due to the special chemical composition and structure of the cancer cell surface, the adhesion between cancer cells is low, the connection is loose, and it is easy to separate from the cancer mass, creating conditions for spread.

Third, cancer cells secrete special substances that dissolve and destroy surrounding tissues, paving the way for spread and metastasis.

Fourth, cancer cells contain special substances that can promote blood clot formation, allowing cancer cells to attach to the blood vessel wall or other parts after entering the blood vessels and continue to grow, laying the foundation for hematogenous metastasis.

In addition to the above reasons, there may be some factors that have not yet been recognized and understood by people. These factors complement each other and produce their effects.

Of course, some drugs can prevent the spread of cancer cells, but that is only temporary.
