Characteristics of cancer cells

Cancer cells are characterized by their clonal nature, their ability to invade surrounding tissues, and their ability to metastasize to distant sites. Early detection and treatment are therefore essential.

1. Clonal: Cancer cells are different from benign cells. Cancer cells are usually clonally related. For example, in the process of proliferation, especially some cancer cells with a low degree of differentiation, the degree of malignancy is likely to be relatively high, and the proliferation rate is very fast.

2. Invasion of surrounding tissues: If it is a benign tumor, it may have an expansive growth, and the inner membrane will be smoother and flatter. Cancer cells can break through the capsule and invade adjacent organs or tissues outside, such as vascular invasion, nerve invasion, etc., including lymphatic vessels.

3. Metastasis to distant organs: Cancer cells may metastasize to distant organs through lymphatic vessels, blood vessels, etc., and may also show signs of lymphatic metastasis. During examination, it will be found that the disease has already formed in the late stage. Treatment is usually difficult, and patients must maintain sufficient confidence and patience.

For most patients, the effect of early treatment is relatively ideal, which can alleviate symptoms and allow them to survive for a long time. They should develop the habit of regular physical examinations, so that some diseases can be detected and treated early. They should also eat more light and nutritious foods.
