We all encounter bleeding gums or tooth discomfort. People who care about their teeth may take some measures to eliminate the inflammation, but some people think that this is a minor problem and do not care about it, thinking that it will be fine in a few days. In fact, for some people, gingivitis does disappear after a few days, but it will recur. This is very distressing because when the gums are inflamed, you cannot eat and it hurts if you touch them, so no one wants to have problems with their teeth. Chronic gingivitis is a common oral disease that occurs over time. Because there was no excessive treatment when gingivitis appeared in the early stages, I didn’t realize there was a problem with my teeth until the inflammation became more and more serious. Going for treatment at this time would be expensive and troublesome. The causes of chronic gingivitis include: 1. Poor oral hygiene, with plaque and tartar accumulation on the tooth surface. Tartar is a soft deposit attached to the tooth surface, composed of food debris, bacteria, epithelial cells, white blood cells, etc. It is often yellow or off-white and can be easily scraped off. Tartar is a calcified or calcified mass of plaque attached to the tooth surface. Tartar is always covered with bacteria. These bacteria come into close contact with the gums, causing gingivitis. 2. Uneven teeth arrangement and misalignment of individual teeth can often cause food impaction and accumulation of soft plaque. Brushing and rinsing the mouth are difficult to remove dirt, leading to the occurrence of chronic gingivitis. 3. The bases of removable dentures and orthodontic devices, the edges of metal crowns do not fit well, the bridge body of fixed bridges is too tight in contact with the gums, the overhanging edges of fillings, etc., not only directly compress and irritate the gums, but are also the places where dental plaque is most likely to accumulate, further calcify into tartar, and often cause chronic gingivitis. 4. Bad mouth breathing habits. Patients with chronic rhinitis have difficulty breathing through the nose and instead breathe through the mouth, gradually developing the habit of mouth breathing. People who breathe through the mouth have dry oral mucosa and gums, poor oral hygiene, reduced gum resistance, and are prone to chronic inflammation. Not paying attention to oral hygiene can cause many harmful consequences, so for our health, we should brush our teeth in the morning and evening to keep a clean mouth. I think no one wants to have problems with their teeth. We all like to see white teeth and beautiful smiles. Only with a good body and good teeth can we dare to face life with a smile. |
