Symptoms of gout

The physical feeling that people hate most is pain, especially pain in the finger bones. The feeling of not being able to bend is really uncomfortable. The most annoying one among these is gout. When the pain comes, clenching your teeth will not relieve it and you may even sweat profusely. But most people don’t know what causes gout, let alone how to treat it.

So what are the common symptoms of gout? What methods can be used to treat gout? Which treatment is most effective? What exactly are the symptoms of gout? Many people whose family members have gout will have these problems. The following is a detailed introduction:

Gout is a disease caused by the deposition of urate crystals, which can affect the foot, most commonly the first metatarsophalangeal joint, causing acute inflammatory reactive synovitis. Acute gout attacks are characterized by severe pain, swelling, erythema, stiffness, and fever in the affected joints, and the symptoms occur suddenly. ,

The attack period usually lasts from a few days to a week. There is usually no triggering factor, but it can occur following minor trauma or eating foods rich in purines. Gout often occurs during the acute phase following surgery. During an acute attack of gout, symptoms should be relieved by resting, elevating the affected limb, wearing shoes with hard soles, and open-toed postoperative shoes. Medical treatment includes high-dose nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or colchicine. When chronic gouty nodules are present, the symptomatic areas can be cleaned or the deposits removed. Severe joint destruction due to gout and pyrophosphate arthropathy is treated the same as degenerative arthritis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint or hallux rigidus.

Joint debridement, implant arthroplasty and arthrodesis are all reasonable options for treating moderate to severe joint destruction.

From the above introduction of Tonggu, we can understand that gout is a disease in which the toe joints are inflamed. People who suffer from this disease really feel pain deep in their bones. General treatment includes eating more high-purine foods and getting more rest, but severe cases still require surgical treatment. You don't need to be overly nervous about this disease, but you also don't need to ignore it completely.
