Dry seborrheic dermatitis treatment

Dry seborrheic dermatitis treatment

Dry seborrheic dermatitis is a relatively common skin disease. It is mainly caused by excessive secretion of sebum in people's skin, which leads to accumulation. However, the cause of it is not very clear at present, but its cause is related to people's spirit, diet and genetics. Generally speaking, the disease is most common in young and middle-aged people, who often develop rashes of varying degrees on various parts of the body, but the symptoms for each person are different.

Since there are many skin diseases nowadays and many of their symptoms are similar, people tend to choose the same treatment method when they are treated. This is wrong. Different skin diseases require different treatments. Today I will talk to you about the treatment of dry seborrheic dermatitis.

Treatment of dry seborrheic dermatitis focuses on keeping the skin clean, limiting fat in the diet, and using medication as appropriate.

1. Limit fatty foods and sweets, such as fatty meat, cream cakes, chocolate, etc., and eat more vegetables and fruits.

2. Wash your face every night with warm water and a small amount of sulfur soap or boric acid soap. Removes oil from the face and cleanses the skin.

3. Follow the doctor's instructions and use medication for treatment, and be patient and persistent to be effective.

4. For dry seborrheic dermatitis, it is important to eat foods rich in vitamins, especially foods rich in vitamin A, such as pork liver, carrots, egg yolks, etc., to correct abnormal keratinization of hair follicles and prevent blockage of hair follicles. Some studies have shown that zinc deficiency can also cause seborrheic dermatitis. The diet should be supplemented with foods high in zinc, such as animal liver, lean meat, poultry, nuts, etc., to correct the relative lack of zinc in the human body. It is important to avoid a high-iodine diet, which can cause keratinization or blockage of hair follicles. The intake of seafood such as kelp and seaweed should be controlled.

In addition to the above, patients with dry seborrheic dermatitis should also eat more foods rich in vitamin C and B1, such as fresh vegetables and fruits. Increasing the intake of appropriate amounts of whole grains, fresh vegetables, fruits and other foods can be of great benefit to seborrheic dermatitis.

During the treatment period, in addition to following the doctor's advice and taking medication, patients should also control their diet and eat more foods rich in vitamins. And if patients have the habit of smoking and drinking, they must quit at this time. You must know that health is the most important thing.
